NOVENA TO OUR LADY OF THANKS
1. O Mary, docile to the Holy Spirit, whom you brought to Elizabeth the Savior and your humble service, come also to us. Knock on the door of our heart because we want to receive you with joy and affection. Give us Jesus, your Son, to meet him, get to know him and love him more.

2. O Mary, declared "blessed" by Elizabeth because you believed the word of the angel Gabriel, help us to welcome the word of God in faith, meditate on it in prayer, implement it in life. We appeal to you as a model of faith, charity and sure hope. We offer you our people, our loved ones, the successes and defeats of life. Stay with us. Pray with us and for us.

Magnificat:
My soul magnifies the Lord *
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
Because he looked at the humility of his servant *
from now on all generations will call me blessed.
The Almighty has done great things for me *

Most Holy Father, we thank you because in your plan of love you have given us Mary, Mother of your Son and our Mother. It is by your will that we turn to her as mediator of Grace, who appeared among us, and of all the other graces because with maternal love she takes care of us, brothers of your Son. May the virgin Mother visit our hearts, our families, children, young people and the elderly, as one day she visited Elizabeth, carrying Jesus in her womb, and with him the gifts of the Holy Spirit and great joy.
Since You, Father, offer us Mary as a shining model of holiness, help us to live like her, in docile listening to your Word, to be faithful disciples of the Church, messengers of the gospel and of peace. Strengthen us in faith, hope and charity, so that we can more easily overcome the difficulties of this life and thus achieve eternal salvation.
