Devotion to Padre Pio: thought of June 7th

You will not be surprised at all about your weaknesses but, by recognizing yourself for who you are, you will blush with your infidelity to God and you will trust in him, abandoning yourself calmly on the arms of the heavenly Father, like a child on those of your mother.

O Padre Pio of Pietrelcina, who carried the signs of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ on your body. You who carried the Cross for all of us, enduring the physical and moral sufferings that scourged you body and soul in a continuous martyrdom, intercede with God so that each of us knows how to accept the small and large Crosses of life, transforming every single suffering into a sure bond that binds us to Eternal Life.

«It is better to tame with sufferings, which Jesus will like to send you. Jesus who cannot suffer to hold you in affliction, will come to solicit you and comfort you by instilling new spirit in your spirit ». Father Pio
