Devotion to St. Paul: the prayer that gives peace!

Devotion to St. Paul: O glorious Saint Paul, who from being a persecutor of Christianity became a most ardent apostle of zeal. And who in order to make the Savior Jesus Christ known to the ends of the world has joyfully suffered imprisonment, scourging, stoning, shipwrecks and persecutions of all kinds. In the end he shed your blood to the last drop, obtain the grace for us to receive,
as favors of the Divine Mercy, infirmities, tribulations and misfortunes of the present life, so that the vicissitudes of our exile do not make us cold in the service of God, but make us ever more faithful and fervent.

Heavenly Father, you have chosen Paul to preach your Word, help me to be enlightened by the faith he proclaimed. St. Paul, you have entrusted yourself completely to God after your glorious conversion. Help us know that our faith is based on God, as you knew too. Saint Paul, pray for us and ask God to fulfill the intentions we have in our hearts. Holy St. Paul, you taught others the saving message of Jesus, intercede for us so that Christ may live in us. Help us to know and imitate you and your love for Jesus. It is through your writings that many people have come to know Jesus, that all people know and glorify God through your writings and your intercession.

Pray for us, St. Paul the Apostle, so that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. O God, you taught the multitude of pagans with the preaching of the blessed Paul the Apostle. Grant us, we beseech you, that we who keep his memory sacred. We can feel the power of his intercession before you. For Christ our Lord. Glorious Saint Paul, zealous apostle, martyr for the love of Christ, give us a profound faith.

A steadfast hope, a ardent love for our Sir, so that we can proclaim with you. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Help us to become apostles, serving the Church with a pure heart, witnesses of her truth and beauty in the darkness of our day.
With you we praise God our Father: "To him be the glory, in the Church and in Christ, now and forever". I hope you enjoyed this powerful devotion dedicated to St. Paul.
