Devotion to the Angels: how to invoke San Raffaele, Archangel of healing
San Raffaele - Raffaele means medicine of God and it is moving to read in Scripture what he did for the young Tobia, becoming his guide and his defender, providing him with the collection of his credit, a happy marriage and the healing of his father from the ce- the towns. The story of Tobias must teach us not to be scandalized when God allows tribulations to the good, to trust in the fatherly Providence of God of which Raphael was manifest and to persevere in prayer, confident that our Guardian Angel will present it to God who in due course he will hear it.

«O glorious Archangel St. Raphael who, after having carefully guarded Tobias' son on his fortunate journey, finally made him safe and unharmed to his dear parents, united with a bride worthy of him, be a faithful guide also to us: overcome the storms and rocks of this procellious sea of the world, all your devotees can happily reach the port of blessed eternity. Amen.

O God, who gave Archangel Raphael to your servant Tobias as your traveling companion, grant, we beg you, to us who are also your servants, to always be protected by this Prince of the Celestial Court and fortified by the his rescue. For Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
