Devotion to the Crucifix: Jesus promises to give everything with this prayer

At the age of 18 a Spaniard joined the novices of the Piarist fathers in Bugedo. He pronounced the vows regulently and distinguished himself for perfection and love. In October 1926 he offered himself to Jesus through Mary. Immediately after this heroic donation, he fell and was immobilized. He died holy in March 1927. He was also a privileged soul who received messages from heaven. Its director asked him to write the promises made by Jesus to those who assiduously practice the VIA CRUCIS. They are:

1. I will give everything that is asked of me in faith during the Via Crucis

2. I promise eternal life to all those who pray the Via Crucis from time to time with pity.

3. I will follow them everywhere in life and will help them especially in the hour of their death.

4. Even if they have more sins than the grains of sea sand, all of them will be saved from the practice of the Via Crucis. (this does not remove the obligation to avoid sin and confess regularly)

5. Those who pray the Via Crucis frequently will have special glory in heaven.

6. I will release them from purgatory (as long as they go there) on the first Tuesday or Saturday after their death.

7. There I will bless every Way of the Cross and My blessing will follow them everywhere on earth, and after their death, even in heaven for eternity.

8. At the hour of death I will not allow the devil to tempt them, I will leave them all faculties for them

may they rest peacefully in My arms.

9. If they pray the Via Crucis with true love, I will transform each of them into a living ciborium in which I will be pleased to let My grace flow.

10. I will fix My gaze on those who will often pray the Via Crucis, My hands will always be open to protect them.

11. Since I am crucified on the cross I will always be with those who will honor Me, praying the Via Crucis frequently.

12. They will never be able to separate (involuntarily) from Me again, for I will give them the grace of not

never commit mortal sins again.

13. At the hour of death I will console them with my Presence and We will go together to Heaven. DEATH WILL BE

SWEET FOR ALL THOSE WHO HONORED ME, DURING THEIR LIFE, PRAYING

THE VIA CRUCIS.

14. My spirit will be a protective cloth for them and I will always help them whenever they resort to it.

Promises made to brother Stanìslao (1903-1927) “I want you to know more deeply the love with which My Heart burns towards souls and you will understand it when you meditate on My Passion. I will not deny anything to the soul who prays to Me in the name of My Passion. An hour of meditation on My painful Passion has a greater merit than a whole year of blood lashing. " Jesus to S. Faustina Kovalska.

INDULGENCES related to the use of the Crucifix

In articulo mortis (at the time of death)
To the faithful in danger of death, who cannot be assisted by a priest who administers the sacraments and gives him the apostolic blessing with the attached plenary indulgence, the holy Mother Church also grants plenary indulgence at the point of death, provided that it is duly disposed and has habitually recited some prayers during life. For the purchase of this indulgence the use of the crucifix or the cross is recommended.
The condition "provided that he habitually recited some prayers during his life" in this case makes up for the three usual conditions required for the purchase of the plenary indulgence.
This plenary indulgence at the point of death can be gained by the faithful who, on the same day, have already purchased another plenary indulgence.

Obiectorum pietatis usus (Use of objects of piety)
The faithful who devoutly use an object of piety (crucifix or cross, crown, scapular, medal), blessed by any priest, can gain a partial indulgence.
If then this religious object is blessed by the Supreme Pontiff or by a Bishop, the faithful, who devoutly uses it, can also acquire the plenary indulgence on the feast of the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, however adding the profession of faith with any legitimate formula.
