Devotion to the Sacred Heart: the prayer on the first Friday of the month

PRAYERS TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS TRANSFERRED BY THE LANCE
(for the first Friday of the month)

O Jesus, so lovable and so unloved! We humbly prostrate ourselves at the foot of your cross, to offer to your divine Heart, open to the spear and consumed by love, the homage of our deep adorations. We thank you, O beloved Savior, for allowing the soldier to pierce your adorable side and thus having opened us a refuge of salvation in the mysterious ark of your Sacred Heart. Allow us to take refuge in these bad times to be able to save ourselves from the excess of scandals that contaminate humanity.

Pater, Ave, Glory.

We bless the precious blood that came out of the open wound in your divine Heart. Dégnati to make it a salvific wash for the unhappy and guilty world. Lava, purifies, regenerates souls in the wave that emerged from this true fountain of grace. Allow, O Lord, that we throw you into our iniquities and those of all men, begging you, for the immense love that devours your Sacred Heart, to save us again.

Pater, Ave, Glory.

Finally, sweetest Jesus, allow us that, by fixing our dwelling forever in this adorable Heart, we spend our lives in holiness and make our last breath in peace. Amen.

Pater, Ave, Glory.

Will of the Heart of Jesus, dispose of my heart.

Zeal of the Heart of Jesus, consume my heart.
Fine act
(to be recited on the solemnity of the Sacred Heart, on the first Friday of the month and on other appropriate occasions)

O most sweet Jesus, whose immense love for men is repaid by us with ingratitude, forgetfulness, contempt and sins, behold, prostrate before you, we intend to make up for this honorable behavior and our many offenses with this honorable fine with which your most lovable Heart is wounded by so many ungrateful children of yours.

Remembering, however, that we too have stained ourselves with similar faults in the past and always experiencing great pain, we implore, first of all for us, your mercy, ready to repair, with adequate expiation, not only our sins, but also the faults of those who, trampling on the promises of baptism, have shaken the sweet yoke of your law and like heeled sheep refuse to follow you, shepherd and guide.

While we intend to detach ourselves from the slavery of passions and vices we propose to repair all our faults: the offenses made against you and your divine Father, the sins against your law and against your gospel, the injustices and the sufferings caused to our brothers, the scandals of customs, the pitfalls aimed at innocent souls, the public guilt of nations which conceal the rights of men and which prevent your Church from exercising her saving ministry, the negligence and desecration of your own sacrament d 'love.

To this end we present to you, O merciful Heart of Jesus, as reparation for all our faults, that infinite atonement that you yourself offered on the cross to your Father and that you renew every day on our altars, uniting it with the atonements of your holy Mother, of all the saints and of the many pious souls.

We intend to repair our sins and those of our brothers, presenting our sincere repentance, the detachment of our heart from any disordered affection, the conversion of our life, the firmness of our faith, faithfulness to your law, the innocence of life and the fervor of charity.

O very kind Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, welcome our voluntary act of reparation. Give us the grace to remain faithful to our commitments, in obedience to you and in service to our brothers. We ask you again for the gift of final perseverance, to be able one day to reach all that blessed homeland, where you reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen.

Short offer
My lovable Jesus, to be grateful to you and to repair my infidelities, I give you my heart and I consecrate myself entirely to you, and with your holy help I propose that you no longer sin.
