Devotion to the Sacred Heart in June: day 15

Our Father, who art in heaven, may your name be sanctified, your kingdom come, your will be done, as in heaven as on earth. Give us our daily bread today, forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Invocation. - Heart of Jesus, victim of sinners, have mercy on us!
Intention. - Begging for mercy for the most obstinate sinners.
DUTIES TOWARDS BONTA ?? OF GOD
The divine mercy that pours out on humanity through the Sacred Heart must be honored, thanked and repaired. Honoring Jesus means praising him for the kindness he shows us.
It is good to set aside a day, for example, Monday, the beginning of the week, to pay homage to the merciful Heart of Jesus, saying in the morning: My God, we adore your infinite goodness! Everything we do today will be directed towards this divine perfection.
Every soul, if it is part of itself, must say: I am a fruit of God's mercy, not only because I was created and redeemed, but also because of the countless times that God has forgiven me. IS?? dutiful to often thank the adorable Heart of Jesus for having called us to penance and for the continuous acts of goodness that he shows us every day. We also thank him for those who take advantage of his mercy and are not grateful to him.
The merciful Heart of Jesus is outraged by the abuse of goodness, which makes hearts ungrateful and hardened in evil. Be sheltered by your devotees.
To implore mercy on us and on others: this is the task of the devotees of the Holy Heart. Fervent, trusting and constant prayer is the golden key that makes us penetrate into the Heart of Jesus, in order to receive the divine gifts, of which the main one is divine mercy. With the apostolate of prayer to how many needy souls we can bring the fruits of divine goodness!
Wanting to make the Sacred Heart a very welcome treat, when you have the possibility, even with the cooperation of other people, let some Holy Mass be celebrated in honor of God's mercy, or at least attend some Holy Mass and communicate for the same purpose.
There are not too many souls who cultivate this beautiful practice.
How honored the Divinity would be with the celebration of this Mass!
Jesus triumphs!
A priest tells:
I was warned that a gentleman, a public sinner, persistent in rejecting the last sacraments was hospitalized in a city clinic.
The sisters in charge of the clinic said to me: Three other priests have visited this sick person, but without fruit. Know that the clinic is guarded by the police station, because many would attack him for compensation for serious damage.
I understood that the case was important and urgent and that a miracle of God's mercy was necessary. Ordinarily, those who live badly die badly; but if the Merciful Heart of Jesus is pressed by the prayer of pious souls, the most wicked and rebellious sinner is suddenly converted.
I said to the Sisters: Go to the chapel to pray; pray with faith to Jesus; in the meantime I speak to the sick. -
The unhappy man was there, lonely, lying on the bed, unconscious of his sad spiritual state. At first, I realized that his heart was too hard and that he did not intend to confess. Meanwhile the Divine Mercy, invoked by the Sisters in the Chapel, fully triumphed: Father, now he can hear my Confession! - I thanked God; I listened to him and gave him absolution. I was moved; I felt the need to tell him: I have assisted hundreds and hundreds of sick people; I never kissed one. Allow me to kiss you, as an expression of the divine kiss that Jesus gave her now forgiving her sins! ... - Do it freely! -
Few times in my life have I had such great joy, as in that moment, in which I gave that kiss, a reflection of the kiss of the Merciful Jesus.
That Priest, author of these pages, followed the patient in the course of his illness. Thirteen days of life remained and he spent them in the maximum serenity of spirit, enjoying the peace that comes only from God.
