Devotion to the Sacred Heart every day: prayer on December 19th

I do not give and consecrate to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ, my person and my life, my works, pains, sufferings, so as not to want to use any part of my being anymore than to honor and glorify him.

This is my irrevocable will: to be all hers and to do everything for her sake, giving up with all my heart what could displease him.

I take you, therefore, Sacred Heart, for the only object of my love, for the protector of my life, for the safety of my salvation, for the remedy of my fragility and inconstancy, for the repairer of all the faults of my life, and for safe asylum at the hour of my death.

O Heart of kindness, be my justification to God, your Father, and remove from me the threats of his just indignation.

O heart of love, I place all my trust in you, because I fear everything from my malice and weakness, but I hope everything from your goodness; consume in me what can displease you and resist you.

Your pure love is impressed so deeply in my heart that I can never forget you, nor ever be separated from you. I beg you, for your goodness, to grant me that my name is written in your Heart, because I want to make my happiness and my glory consist in living and dying as your slave. Amen.

(This consecration was recommended by our Lord to Saint Margaret Mary).

2 I will put peace in their families.

3 I will console them in all their afflictions.

5 I will spread the most abundant blessings over all their endeavors.

6 Sinners will find in my heart the source and the ocean of mercy.

7 Lukewarm souls will become fervent.

8 Fervent souls will rise rapidly to great perfection.

9 I will bless the houses where the image of my Sacred Heart will be exposed and venerated

10 I will give priests the gift of moving the hardest hearts.

11 The people who propagate this devotion of mine will have their name written in my Heart and it will never be canceled.

12 To all those who will communicate for nine consecutive months on the first Friday of each month I promise the grace of the final penance; they will not die in my misfortune, but they will receive the sacred minds and my Heart will be their safe haven in that extreme moment.

COMMENT ON THE FOURTH PROMISE
"I WILL BE THEIR SAFE REFUGE IN LIFE, BUT ESPECIALLY AT THE DEATH POINT".

Jesus opens His Heart to us as kindergartens of peace and refuge among the whirlwind of life.

God the Father wanted "that his Only Begotten Son hanging from the cross should be pierced by the soldier's spear so that his open Heart ... may be rest and refuge of salvation ..." is a warm and throbbing refuge of love. A refuge that is always open, by day, by night, is twenty centuries, dug in the force of God, in his love.

«We make in him, in the divine Heart, our continuous and perpetual abode; nothing will disturb us. In this Heart you go unalterable peace ». That refuge is a haven of peace especially for sinners who want to escape divine anger. The same invitation also comes from other Saints. St. Augustine: "Longinus opened the ribs of Jesus with my spear and I entered and rested there with confidence". St. Bernard: «Your Heart has been wounded, O Lord, so that I may live in him and in you. How beautiful it is to live in this Heart ». St. Bonaventure: «Penetrating into the wounds of Jesus, I go all the way to his love. We enter entirely and we will find rest and ineffable sweetness ».

Shelter in life but especially on the point of death. When the whole life, without reservations, has been all a gift to the Sacred Heart, death is expected with gentleness.

«How sweet it is to die after having a tender and constant devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus!». Jesus communicates to the dying person the certainty of his great word: "Whoever lives and believes in me will not die forever". The sigh of the soul is fulfilled.

He longed to get out of the body to join Jesus: and Jesus is about to pick the flower of his predilection, to transplant it into the eternal garden of his delights.

Let's run to this refuge and stop! It does not awe anyone.

he is used to welcoming sinners and sinners ... and all the miseries, even the most shameful ones, disappear there.
