Devotion to the Sacred Heart every day: prayer on December 25th

O most sweet Jesus, O Redeemer of mankind, look at us humbly prostrate before your altar. We are yours and we want to be: and in order to live more closely together, each of us spontaneously consecrates yourselves to your most sacred Heart today.

Unfortunately, many never knew you; many, despising your commandments, repudiated you. O most kind Jesus, have mercy on one and the other, and draw everyone to your most holy Heart.

O Lord, be the King not only of the faithful who never left you, but also of the prodigal children who abandoned you; arrange for these to return to their father's home as soon as possible.

Be the King of those who live in the deception of error or by discord separated from you; call them back to the port of truth and the unity of faith, so that in short a single sheepfold can be made under one shepherd.

Extend, O Lord, safety and secure freedom to your Church, extend to all peoples the tranquility of order; arrange for this one voice to sound from one end of the earth to the other: Praise be to that divine Heart, from whom our salvation came; glory and honor be sung to him over the centuries. Amen.

THE PROMISES OF THE HEART
1 I will give them all the graces necessary for their state.

2 I will put peace in their families.

3 I will console them in all their afflictions.

4 I will be their safe haven in life and especially on the point of death.

5 I will spread the most abundant blessings over all their endeavors.

6 Sinners will find in my heart the source and the ocean of mercy.

7 Lukewarm souls will become fervent.

8 Fervent souls will rise rapidly to great perfection.

9 I will bless the houses where the image of my Sacred Heart will be exposed and venerated

10 I will give priests the gift of moving the hardest hearts.

11 The people who propagate this devotion of mine will have their name written in my Heart and it will never be canceled.

12 To all those who will communicate for nine consecutive months on the first Friday of each month I promise the grace of the final penance; they will not die in my misfortune, but they will receive the sacred minds and my Heart will be their safe haven in that extreme moment.

MEDITATION TO THE ELEVENTH PROMISE

"PEOPLE WHO WILL PROPAGATE THIS DEVOTION WILL HAVE THEIR NAME WRITTEN IN MY HEART AND WILL NEVER BE DELETED".

This could be called the promise of divine gratitude; in fact, if the twelfth is an excess of mercy, the eleventh is an excess of gratitude from the Heart of Jesus.

The lover of the Canticle of Canticles engraves on his arm a sign of his beloved. Jesus, the true lover of our souls, does not place a "mark" on his arm of his beloved ones, but writes the names in the Heart! Certainly having written your name in these reddish pages of the Heart of those who created and redeemed us, of those who must judge us is an immense joy and gives so much peace to the soul.

In fact, having your name written in the Heart of Jesus means enjoying an intimate exchange of interests, that is, a high degree of grace. But the extraordinary privilege that makes the promise "the pearl of the Sacred Heart" lies in the words "and they will never be canceled". If one fell into a mortal sin, at least temporarily that intimacy would cease and those names would be canceled with the loss of the state of grace; therefore if those names are never erased it means that the souls who carry those names written in the Heart of Jesus will be continually in a state of grace and will enjoy, so to speak, the gift of impeccability. (P. Agostini).

Perhaps it is a privilege reserved for a few, a few chosen souls, innocent and holy ... WE depend on us. The Lord has placed an easy condition: to spread devotion to the Heart of Jesus. This is possible for everyone, in all conditions.

In the family, in the office, in the factory, among friends ... A little good will is enough; and the reward is beautiful.

We therefore do everything to gently compel Jesus to record our names in his Heart which is the book of life, is the book of love.
