Devotion to the Sacred Heart every day: prayer on December 26th

O most sweet Heart of Jesus, the holiest, the most tender, the most lovable and good of all hearts! O Heart victim of love, eternal pleasure of the Empyrean, comfort of the wretched mortal and ultimate hope of the exiled children of Eve: listen benevolently to our supplications and our moans and clamor come to You. In Your loving breast, tender and affectionate, we gather in the present need, as the child gathers confidently in the arms of his dear mother, persuaded that we must believe in You as much as we need in the present; because Your love and your tenderness towards us incomparably exceed those who have had and will have all mothers put together towards their children.

Remember, O Heart of all, the most faithful and generous, of the magnificent and consoling promises you made to Santa Margherita Maria Alacoque, to grant, with a large and generous hand, special help and favors to those who turn to you, a real treasure of thanks and mercy. Your words, Lord, must be fulfilled: Heaven and Earth will move rather than Your promises stop being fulfilled. For this reason, with the confidence that can inspire a father to his beloved son, we prostrate ourselves in front of you, and with our eyes fixed on you, O lover and compassionate Heart, we humbly ask you to access propitiously to the prayer that these children give you. of the sweet Mother.

Present, or most amiable Redeemer, to your Eternal Father the wounds and sores that you have received in your most sacred body, particularly that of the side, and our pleas will be heard, our wishes fulfilled. If you wish, just say a word, O Almighty Heart, and immediately we will experience the effects of Your infinite virtue, so that Your command and will will subject and obey Heaven, earth and abysses. May our sins and the insults with which we offend You not serve as an obstacle, so that you stop pitying those who rail against You; on the contrary, forgetting our ingratitude and perfidy, spread abundantly on our souls the inexhaustible treasures of grace and mercy that close in Your Heart, so that, after having served you faithfully in this life, we can enter the eternal abodes of glory, to sing, ceaselessly, Your mercies, O lover Heart, worthy of the highest honor and glory, for all the centuries. Amen.

10 I will give priests the gift of moving the hardest hearts.

11 The people who propagate this devotion of mine will have their name written in my Heart and it will never be canceled.

12 To all those who will communicate for nine consecutive months on the first Friday of each month I promise the grace of the final penance; they will not die in my misfortune, but they will receive the sacred minds and my Heart will be their safe haven in that extreme moment.

"Fervent souls will quickly rise to great perfection."

Fervent souls through devotion to the Sacred Heart will rise to great perfection without effort. We all know that when you love you don't struggle and that, if you struggle, the effort itself turns into love.

The Sacred Heart is the "source of all holiness and is also the source of all consolation", so that, bringing our lips close to that wounded side, we drink at the same time holiness and joy. In fact, it is enough to scroll through the writings of Saint Margaret Mary or the pages of a treatise on the Sacred Heart to persuade oneself that this devotion is truly a step forward in the development of the way of raising souls.

Here are the words of the saint: «I do not know that there is another exercise of devotion in the spiritual life that is more purposefully to raise a soul IN A LITTLE TIME to the highest perfection and to make it taste the true sweetnesses that are at the service. uncle of Jesus Christ.

Pope Pius XII says in the encyclical Haurietis Aquas: "therefore it is worthy of being held in great honor that form of worship (devotion to the Holy Heart) thanks to which man is able to honor and love God more and to consecrate oneself more easily and promptly to the service of divine charity ».

Saint Teresa of the Child Jesus called the arms of Jesus lift; elevator of love that was to lift her up to heaven. This nice image should refer much more to the Sacred Heart!

Jesus himself speaking to a holy soul said: «NO. Loving my Heart is not difficult and hard, but gentle and easy-going. Nothing extraordinary is needed to reach a high degree of love: purity of intention in small and great actions ... intimate union with my Heart and love will do the rest ».

And it reaches this point: «Yes, love transforms everything and everything divinizes and Mercy forgives everything!».

Let's trust in Jesus and use this fast and safe means without distrust!
