WORDS OF THE VEN.P. BARTOLOMEO DA SALUZZO:
Certainly know, brother, that there will be no lawfully requested thing by anyone, saying the following Oration, which is not answered. Indeed I tell you that, beyond the above Oration, in whatever your need, if you cry out to heaven you will say. "O Father, or Son, or Holy Spirit, or Holy Trinity, or Jesus, or Mary, or Saints and Saints of Paradise, I ask for this grace for the Blood of Christ", be sure that if you have faith and persevere in prayer, you will receive the grace you humbly ask. This can be done every hour, in every place; only with the mind or even with the mouth according to the opportunity.
If the need does not require so much time, then you can avail yourself of the following Oration, to recite for nine continuous days with the soul in the grace of God.
To prepare you for this holy exercise of prayer, the first thing you are looking for is the intention, which must be for the glory of God, for the health of your soul and neighbor, to help the souls of purgatory and then to to ask for oneself and for others the things necessary for the soul and body, according to the will of God.
PREPARATION OR INTENTION FORMULA
O immense and eternal majesty of God, Most Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I very humble your creature adore you and praise you with the greatest affection and respect that can be given by creatures. In your presence and in the presence of Mary Most Holy Immaculate Virgin, Queen of Heaven, of my Guardian Angel, of my Patron Saints and of the whole heavenly court, I protest that this prayer and petition I am about to make to the merciful and merciful Virgin Mary for the merits of the precious Blood of Jesus, I intend to do it with right intention and mainly for your glory, for my and my neighbor's salvation, to lift and help the Souls of purgatory, for whom I apply it in a suffrage way; I address it in particular to my present needs of the soul and body and to be freed from the anguish and travails in which I find myself.
Therefore, I hope from you, my highest Good, through the intercession of the Most Holy Virgin, to achieve the grace that I humbly ask of you for the infinite merits of the most precious Blood of Jesus.
But what can I do in the present state in which I am, if not to confess to you, O my God, all my sins committed to date, asking you again for purification in the Blood of Jesus? Yes, yes, my God, I regret it and I regret it from my heart, not for fear of the hell I deserved, but only for having offended You, the highest Good. I firmly propose with your holy grace not to be offended ever again for the future and to flee the next opportunities of sin. Have mercy, Lord, forgive me. Amen.
After the preparation prayer, say:
Under your protection, I take refuge, Holy Mother of God: do not disdain the prayer I address to you in my needs, but always save me from all dangers, glorious and blessed Virgin.

O Mary, I appeal to you; I invoke you. Help me, sweet Mother of God; help me, Queen of Heaven; help me, most pitiful Mother and Refuge of sinners; help me, Mother of my sweetest Jesus.
And since there is nothing that is asked of you by virtue of the passion of Jesus Christ that cannot be obtained from you, with lively faith I beg you to grant me the grace that is so dear to me; I ask you for the divine Blood that Jesus scattered for our salvation. I will not cease to cry to You, until it has answered me. O Mother of mercy, I am confident of obtaining this grace, because I ask you for the infinite merits of the most precious Blood of your most beloved Son.
O sweetest Mother, by the merits of the most precious Blood of your divine Son, grant me the grace of …… (Here you will ask for the grace you desire, then you will say as follows).

O Virgin Mary, through the merits of the precious Blood of your divine Son, intercede for me with the heavenly Father.
Now you will address your invocation to all the Angels and Saints of heaven, so that they may join their intercession with that of the Virgin for the attainment of the grace you ask for.
All angels and saints of paradise, who contemplate the glory of God, join your prayer to that of the dear Mother and Queen Mary Most Holy and obtain for me from Heavenly Father the grace that I ask for for the merits of the precious Blood of our divine Redeemer.
I also appeal to you, Holy Souls in purgatory, to pray for me and ask Heavenly Father for the grace I implore for that very precious Blood that my and your Savior shed from his most sacred wounds.
For you too I offer to the eternal Father the most precious Blood of Jesus, so that you may fully enjoy it and praise it forever in the glory of heaven by singing: «You have redeemed us, O Lord, with your Blood and you have made us a kingdom for the our God ».

To conclude the prayer, you will turn to the Lord with this simple and effective invocation:
O good and lovable Lord, sweet and merciful, have mercy on me and all souls, both living and deceased, whom you have redeemed with your precious Blood. Amen.
