Devotion to the Holy Face: the intercessions "I seek your Face"
INTERCESSIONS TO THE HOLY FACE
1 - Merciful God, who through Baptism made us reborn to a new life, make us become more and more comfortable with your image day by day!
2 - In Christ Jesus, O God the Father, you renewed man, created in your image, make us conform to the image of your Son!
3 - O Lord, please free us from the worries of things that pass, because we can collaborate with renewed enthusiasm in the work of your love, to enjoy the vision of your Face in heaven.
4 - O God, our Father, who opens the doors of your Kingdom to the humble and the little ones, let us follow with calm confidence the way your Son Jesus has shown us, so that the glory of your Face may also be revealed to us!
5 - O Father, allow your Church to renew itself unceasingly, so that, ever more conforming to the Gospel model, she can manifest to the world the true Face of your Son Jesus.
6 - Father, You who revealed your Face in Jesus to us, let us recognize your image in every man.
7 - In the Face of Christ you made the light of your glory shine. It arouses in all Christians the spirit of contemplation and the availability of service.
8 - Help us to recognize your Face in our brothers and to serve you in each of them.
9 - Light of the Gentiles, remember those who are immersed in the darkness of error, show them your Face so that they recognize you as God and Lord.
10 - O Lord, with the light of your Spirit help us to discover your human Face and our true divine face in Christ.
11 - To those who are oppressed under the weight of the sin make the light of your Face shine because I find peace with you and with your brothers.
12 - Show your Face to young people eager to follow Christ Master and Shepherd.
Let them respond generously to their vocation for the Kingdom of Heaven.
13 - O God, make us persevere in your service in every circumstance and walk in the light of your Face!
14 - Bless our family, friends, acquaintances and those who do us good in your name: show them your VoLTo and fill them with every consolation.
15 - Because we recognize your Face in every man, Lord, help us to love you more.
16 - King of glory, we await the splendid day of your manifestation, when we contemplate your Face without veils and we will be like you!
17 - You are the irradiation of the glory of the Father and the unprepared of his substance, Lord Jesus, make sure that at the end of life we contemplate your Face together with your saints.
18 - Allow the people, who walk in the light of your Face, to contemplate yourself one day face to face to enjoy the fullness of joy forever.
19 - Be merciful, Lord Jesus, with all your dead, admit them to enjoy the light of your Face!
20 - You created man in your image and likeness. Allow our deceased brothers to eternally contemplate your Face.
21- Welcome our deceased brothers and sisters in the light of your home,
so that they can contemplate your Face forever.
