Devotion to Divine Grace: A Story That Brings You Closer to the Lord!

No wonder divine grace visibly rested on this zealous young monk who overflowed with the love of Christ and who never regretted his work and deeds. It was dawn and the central church was still locked. In one corner, the monk Nikita waited for the bells to ring and for the church to open. After him, the old monk Dimas, a former Russian officer, who was about ninety, entered the narthex; he was a great ascetic and a holy secret. Seeing no one, the old man thought he was alone and began to make large metanoia and pray in front of the closed doors of the nave.

Divine grace poured out of the venerable old Dimas and poured out on young Nikita, who was then ready to receive it. The feelings that overwhelmed the young man cannot be described. After the Holy Liturgy and Holy Communion, the young monk Nikita was so happy that, on his way to his hermitage, he spread his arms and shouted loudly: “Glory to You, God! Glory to You, God! Glory to You, God! "

After the visit of divine grace, there was a fundamental change in the mental and physical characteristics of the young monk Nikita. That change came from the right hand of the Most High. He was endowed with power from on high and acquired supernatural gifts of grace. The first sign of the presence of gifts of grace appeared when he "saw" his elders from a great distance, returning from afar.

He "saw" them where they were, even though they were not accessible to the human eye. He confessed to his father, who advised him to be careful and not to tell anyone. Nikita followed these suggestions until she received a different order. This gift was followed by others. His feelings have become sensitive to an incomprehensible degree and human powers have developed to the extreme.
