Devotion to the Holy Spirit: 10 points to be docile to the Spirit of God
1. THE SPIRIT SPEAKS IN A SPEECH
The Spirit is most respectful of your freedom; it is a strong and discreet love that of the Spirit, just a little pride and superficiality and His voice no longer reaches you. The Spirit is silent, silent and waiting.

2. IF THE SPIRIT HAMMERS THERE IS A HOT PROBLEM

Any delay in welcoming His voice causes serious damage to your spiritual life; every readiness to respond renews you and opens you up to perceive His light better. But how many times the Spirit pounds: “Leave that friendship. Leave that chance, leave that vice. " And then when the Spirit hammers we must leave.

3. THE SECRET OF JOY IS TO GIVE CONTINUOUS JOY TO THE HOLY SPIRIT
But we must start from concreteness, from small things. Every act of humility, every act of generosity feeds the joy that the Holy Spirit sows in us. When you do an act of kindness, you, if you are not careful, afterwards you will be a little proud. When you do an act of goodness now you don't do that anymore; stop and say: "Thank you, Holy Spirit". I invented this prayer for myself; when I do a kindness now I say: "Thank you, Holy Spirit, again, again", to say to him: "Continue to inspire goodness, continue to give me an opportunity to do something beautiful for you". Here, the Holy Spirit is continually at work, but we must let him work.

4. THE SPIRIT DOES NOT TIRES OF TALKING TO YOU, TO EDUCATE YOU, TO TRAIN YOU
The Spirit, I mean, is the faithfulness of love and uses the simplest means: inspirations, advice from people who love you, examples, testimonies, readings, meetings, events ...

5. THE WORD OF GOD IS THE FIRST ANTENNA OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
I mean: learn to read the Word of God by imploring the Spirit; never read the Word without the Spirit. Feed on the Word by invoking the Spirit. Pray the Word in the Spirit. When you take the Word in hand, first: raise the antenna of listening to the Spirit; then pray, pray to the Spirit. It is with the Word and the prayer that you learn to distinguish the voice of the Spirit.
The Pope in the enc. at number 25 he says: "With the power of the Gospel the Holy Spirit constantly renews the Church". You see, the Word of God is the constant antenna that renews the Church, so the Church connects with the Holy Spirit.
6. DO NOT STOP THANKS THE SPIRIT FOR WHAT IS FOR YOU
Your life is a mysterious and continuous interweaving of gifts of the Holy Spirit: from Baptism to death. From your birth to death there is a golden thread: the gifts of the Spirit; a golden thread that runs throughout your life. You barely perceive some gifts, but you must strive to find many. And for the gifts you perceive, he begins to thank.

7. THE MALIGNO COPIES FROM THE SPIRIT AND DOES EVERYTHING TO COUNTER HIS WORK
Satan is the monkey of God, he copies from God. He also sends his inspirations, he also sends his messages, he sends his messengers. Sometimes when you open the mass media there is the messenger waiting for you, but the power of the Holy Spirit blows Satan with a breath. It is enough to rely on him totally and promptly; then we overcome any seduction of Satan if we are well connected to the Holy Spirit.
I meet more and more people who are afraid of Satan: there is no need to be afraid of Satan because we have the Holy Spirit. When we bind to the Holy Spirit, Satan cannot do anything anymore. When we invoke the Holy Spirit, Satan is blocked. When we implore the Holy Spirit on people, Satan is ineffective.
The Pope in the enc. at number 38 he wrote: "Satan, the perverse genius of the suspect, challenges man to become the adversary of God".
8. A frequent offense to the spirit is not to relate to him as a person
I will always insist on this, because we do not treat the Holy Spirit as a person.
Yet Jesus entrusted us to him and said that "He will teach you everything, he will remind you of what I have told you", he will accompany us, he will convince us about sin, that is, he will tear us away from sin.

9. JESUS PROMISED THAT THE FATHER GIVES THE SPIRIT TO ANYONE WHO ASKS.
He did not say that the Father gives the Spirit to those who deserve it; he said that he gives the Spirit to whoever asks for it. Then we must ask for it with faith and constancy.
The Pope at number 65 of the enc. he says: "The Holy Spirit is the gift that comes to the heart of man together with prayer".
10. THE SPIRIT IS THE LOVE OF GOD EFFECTED IN OUR HEARTS
The more we live in love, the more we live in the Holy Spirit. The more we follow our selfishness the more we move away from the Holy Spirit. But the Spirit never gives up, continuously stimulates us in love.
The Pope in the enc. he says: "The Holy Spirit is Person-Love, in him the intimate life of God becomes a gift".
His intimate life gives me unceasing, because the love of God poured into our hearts is the Holy Spirit.
