Devotion of the thirty days of prayer to the Madonna

Always glorious and blessed Mary,
queen of virgins, mother of mercy,
hope and comfort of the souls cut down and desolate,
through that sword of pain
who pierced your heart while your only Son,
Jesus Christ, our Lord,
he suffered death and ignominy on the Cross;
through that filial tenderness
and pure love through that filial tenderness
and the pure love he had for you, grieved in your pain,
while from his cross he recommended you
to the care and protection of his beloved disciple,
Saint John, have mercy, I beg you,
on my poverty and necessity;
have compassion for my anxieties and worries;
assist and comfort me in all my infirmities and miseries.

You are the Mother of Mercy,
the sweet comforter and the required refuge.
of the needy and orphans,
of the desolate and afflicted.

So look with pity on a miserable,
abandoned son of Eve,
and listen to my prayer;
for since, in the just punishment of my sins,
I am surrounded by evils
and oppressed by anguish of spirit,
where can I escape for a safer refuge,

o Lovable Mother of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
what about your maternal protection?
I introduce you, therefore, I beg you,
with pity and compassion for my humble and sincere I ask you through the infinite mercy of your dear Son, - through that love and condescension with which he embraced our nature, when,

in accordance with the Divine Will,
you got your consent, and who,
after the nine-month deadline,
you let out
from the chaste enclosure of your womb,
to visit this world
and bless him with his presence.

I ask it through the wounds of His virginal flesh,
caused by ropes and whips
with which he was tied and scourged
when stripped of his garment without seams,
for which his executioners subsequently cast lots.

I ask it through mockery and ignominy
with which he was insulted,
false accusations and unjust conviction
with which he was sentenced to death
and which he brought with heavenly patience.

I ask him between his bitter tears and his bloody sweat;
His silence and his resignation;
His sadness and pain in the heart.

I ask it through the Blood
that dripped from His real and sacred head,
when hit by his rod scepter,
and pierced by the crown of thorns.

I ask it through the excruciating torments he has undergone,
when his hands and feet were fixed
with huge nails to the tree of the cross.

I ask for his vehement thirst
and for the bitter potion of vinegar and gall.

I ask for abandonment on the cross,
when he exclaimed:
"My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me?"

I ask for his mercy extended to the good thief,
and by means of his recommendation of his precious soul and spirit from the outbreak of the rocks, from the breaking of the veil of the temple,
in the hands of the Eternal Father before the deadline.

I ask through the Blood mixed with water,
that comes out of His sacred side,
when pierced by a spear,
and from where a flow of grace and mercy flowed towards us.

I ask through her immaculate life, the
bitter passion
and ignominious death on the cross,
to which nature itself was thrown into convulsions, the earthquake and the darkness of the sun and moon. I ask this through his descent into hell, where he comforted the Saints of the Old Law with his presence and led the captivity into captivity. I ask through his glorious victory over death,

when he rose to life on the third day,
and through joy
that his appearance for forty days later gave you, the
his blessed Mother, i
His apostles
and His disciples,
when, in your presence and in their presence,
miraculously ascended to heaven. when it descended upon them in the form of fiery tongues and who were zealously inspired for the conversion of the world when they went out to preach the gospel. I ask through the terrible appearance of your Son, on the last terrible day, when He will come to judge the living and the dead, and the world by fire. I ask for the compassion that brought you into this life,

I ask for it by the grace of the Holy Spirit,
infused into the hearts of the Disciples,

and for the ineffable joy you felt
to Your Assumption into heaven,
where you are eternally absorbed
by the sweet contemplation of his divine perfections.

O glorious and always blessed Virgin,
comfort the heart of your supplication,
getting graces and favors for me
which I now solicit seriously.

(Here you mention your requests)

And while I am persuaded my Divine Savior honors You
like His beloved Mother, to whom he cannot refuse anything,
so let me experiment quickly
the effectiveness of your powerful intercession,
according to the tenderness of your maternal affection,
and its
Filial, loving heart
who graciously grants requests and fulfills
the desires of those who love and fear Him.

Therefore, O Most Holy Virgin,
next to the subject of my present petition
and anything else I need,
get your dear Son for me too,
our Lord and our God,
a living faith, one
firm hope, one
perfect charity,
contrition of the heart,
unfinished tears of compunction,
sincere confession,
just satisfaction,
abstinence from sin,
love of God and my neighbor,
contempt for the world,
patience to suffer affront and ignominy,
indeed, if necessary, even
an oppressed death itself,
for the love of your Son,
our Savior Jesus Christ.
You get for me too,

o Holy Mother of God, the
perseverance in good works,
execution of good resolutions,
mortification of personal will,
a pious conversation through life,
and at my last moment, the
strong and sincere repentance,
accompanied by one
so lively and attentive presence of the mind,
that can allow me to receive
worthily the last sacraments of the Church
and to die in your friendship and favor.

Finally, please,
for the souls of my parents,
brothers, relatives
and benefactors both living and dead,
eternal life.

Amen.
