Devotion of the day: What do you do after Communion?

What do you do after Communion? With Jesus in your heart, with God united to you, what are you doing? The Angels envy your fate; and you don't know what to say to your God, your Father, your Judge? Look at him with lively faith lowering himself to you, sinner: humble yourself, show him your gratitude, invite creatures to bless him for you, offer him love, the fervor of Mary and the Saints, give him your heart, promise him to become a saint ... You, are you doing so? ,

It is the most precious moment in life. St. Teresa said that, after Holy Communion, she obtained everything she asked for. Jesus comes into us carrying all Grace; it is the favorable opportunity to ask without fear, without limitation. For the body, for the soul, for the victory over the passions, for our sanctification; for relatives, for benefactors, for the triumph of the Church: how many things one has to ask! And we, distracted, cold, can no longer say anything, after five minutes?

Remote Thanksgiving. It is not enough for Jesus' true lover to spend a few moments with Luì, he spends the whole day of Communion in greater recollection, in more frequent acts of love for God, in union with Jesus, in his own heart, loving him ... And your habit? But the most beautiful and useful thanksgiving will always be changing life, overcoming some passion for love of Jesus, growing in holiness to please him. Why don't you practice it?
