Devotion of the day: say prayers to the three Sacred Hearts

Giuseppe next to the cradle. Consider the joy, the exultation of St. Joseph in being able to see Him for the first, the born Redeemer. With what faith did he adore him, with what love did he gather him in his arms'… No doubt then he found a large reward for virtue; practiced until then; Jesus amply repaid him for the pains and labors endured for him! Virtue and piety have with them such sweetness that learns ... Why don't you give yourself to the service of God? Love the acorns of the world!

Mary, Mother of Jesus. As soon as the Baby was born, Mary wrapped Him in her swaddling clothes, and perch on her breast, you feel the Heart of Jesus palpitating on hers. How those two Hearts understood each other! Oh how the Love of Jesus was transfused into the Heart of Mary! With what enthusiasm Mary consecrated herself to him, offering herself to do, to suffer and to endure everything for her Jesus! If you loved your Jesus, you would feel how sweet and good he is with those who love him!

Joseph and Mary, mediators with Jesus. Weren't they the ones who introduced the shepherds, the magi, and presented them to Jesus? Pray them, therefore, that they obtain you to spend Holy Christmas usefully, and tell Jesus to be born in your heart with his grace, with his humility and patience, with his love, that he reform your heart and make you a saint. But you would pray in vain, if you do not cultivate the righteousness of St. Joseph, that is, if you do not commit yourself to become virtuous, and if you do not cast sin from the heart, to imitate the purity of Mary.
