Prayer to Jesus for the Souls of Purgatory
My Jesus, for that copious sweat of blood that you shed in the garden of Gethsemane, have mercy on the souls of my closest relatives who suffer in Purgatory. Our Father, Ave Maria, eternal rest.
My Jesus, for those humiliations and those scoffs that You suffered in the courts to the point of being slapped, mocked and outraged like a criminal, have mercy on the souls of our dead who in Purgatory are waiting to be glorified in your blessed Kingdom. Our Father, Hail Mary, eternal rest.
My Jesus, for that crown of very acute thorns that pierced your most holy temples, have mercy on the most abandoned soul and without suffrages, and on the most distant soul to be freed from the pains of Purgatory. Our Father, Ave Maria, eternal rest.
My Jesus, for those painful steps you took with the cross on your shoulders, have mercy on the soul closest to leaving Purgatory; and for the pains you felt together with your Most Holy Mother in meeting you on the way to Calvary, free from the pains of Purgatory the souls who were devoted to this dear Mother. Our Father, Ave Maria, eternal rest.
My Jesus, for your most holy body lying on the cross, for your most holy feet and hands pierced with hard nails, for your cruel death and for your most holy side opened by the spear, use mercy and mercy among those poor souls. Novena for the Souls of Purgatory

3) O Jesus the Redeemer, for the great merits of St. Joseph and for those of Mary, Mother of the suffering and afflicted; let your infinite mercy descend on the poor souls abandoned in purgatory. They are also the price of your blood and the work of your hands. Give them complete forgiveness and lead them to the amenities of your glory that have long sighed. Eternal rest
4) O Jesus the Redeemer, for the multiple pains of your agony, passion and death, have mercy on all our poor dead who cry and moan in purgatory. Apply to them the fruit of so many of your pains, and lead them to the possession of that glory that you have prepared for them in heaven. Eternal rest

O Mary, have pity on those poor Souls who, locked in the dark prisons of the place of expiation, have no one on earth who thinks of them. Deign yourselves, good Mother, to lower a gaze of pity on those abandoned; inspire many charitable Christians to think of praying for them, and seek in your Motherly Heart ways to come to them compassionately. Prayer of San Gaspare in suffrage of the Souls of Purgatory
Jesus my Redeemer, our Father and Comforter, remember that souls cost the invaluable price of your Divine Blood. O my Savior, in the order of your admirable providence receive the holy Souls of Purgatory. Observe them, they thirst to possess you, and you intuitively enjoy yourselves do not lose conformity to your will and with respect. They exclaim: "Miseremini mei, miseremini mei" (Mercy, mercy on me). However, they await relief in that prison from the piety of the faithful pilgrims on earth. Your graces excite them, you animate them, your commitment to continually zeal for the increase of those suffrages that accelerate to many of your daughters, my God, the possession of the Most Blessed Kingdom.
Prayer for help from the holy souls of Purgatory
Holy souls of Purgatory, we remember you to lighten your purification with our suffrages; you remember us to help us, because it is true that you cannot do anything for yourself, but for others you can do a lot. Your prayers are very powerful and soon come to the throne of God. Obtain our deliverance from all misfortunes, miseries, diseases, anxieties and travails. Get us peace of mind, assist us in all actions, help us promptly in our spiritual and temporal needs, console us and defend us in danger. Pray for the Holy Father, for the glorification of the Holy Church, for the peace of nations, for Christian principles to be loved and respected by all peoples and make sure that one day we can come with you in Peace and in the Joy of Paradise. Offer of the day for the souls of purgatory
My eternal and lovable God, prostrate in adoration of your immense Majesty humbly I offer you the thoughts, words, works, sufferings that I have suffered and those that I will suffer on this day. I propose to do everything for your love, for your glory, to fulfill your divine will, so as to support the holy Souls of Purgatory and plead for the grace of a true conversion of all sinners. I intend to do everything in union with the pure intentions that Jesus, Mary, all the saints in Heaven and the righteous on earth had in their lives. Receive, my God, this heart of mine, and give me your holy blessing together with the grace not to commit mortal sins during life, and to unite spiritually with the Holy Masses that are celebrated today in the world, applying them in suffrage of the holy Souls of Purgatory and especially of (name) so that they are purified and finally free from suffering. I propose to offer the sacrifices, the contrarieties and every suffering that your Providence has established for me today, to help the Souls of Purgatory and obtain their relief and peace. Amen.
