Devotion of the holy wounds of Sister Chambon

The devotion to the Holy Wounds was entrusted by Jesus to the Servant of God Sister Maria Marta Chambon (1841-1907), a nun of the monastic order of the Visitation of Santa Maria, founded on June 6, 1610 in Annecy, France, by S. Francesco di Sales and Saint Giovanna Francesca Frémyot of Chantal. Santa Margherita Maria Alacoque (1647-1690) also belonged to the same religious order, to whom Jesus had given the task of spreading the devotion to His Holy Heart with the practice of the first nine Fridays of the month in repair of the offenses brought to him by the ingratitude of men.

Sister Maria Marta Chambon lived in the Chambery Monastery and to her the Lord made these promises:

“I will accord all that is asked of Me with the invocation of My holy wounds. Devotion must be spread "
"In truth, this prayer is not of the earth but of heaven ... and can obtain everything".
"My holy wounds support the world ... ask me to love them constantly, because they are the source of all grace. We must often invoke them, attract our neighbor and imprint their devotion in souls ”.
"When you have pains to suffer, bring them promptly to My Wounds and they will be softened."
“It is often necessary to repeat close to the sick: 'My Jesus, forgiveness and mercy for the merits of Your holy wounds'. This prayer will lift the soul and body. "
“And the sinner who will say: 'Eternal Father, I offer you the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal those of our souls' will obtain conversion. My Wounds will repair yours ".
“There will be no death for the soul that will breathe in My Wounds. They give real life. "
"With every word you say of the Crown of mercy, I drop a drop of My Blood on the soul of a sinner."
"The soul who honored My holy wounds and offered them to the Eternal Father for the souls of Purgatory will be accompanied in death by the Blessed Virgin and the Angels and I, resplendent with glory, will receive her to crown her".
"The holy wounds are the treasure of treasures for the souls of Purgatory".
"Devotion to My Wounds is the remedy for this time of iniquity."
"From My Wounds the fruits of Holiness come out, meditating on them you will always find new food of love".
"My daughter, if you immerse your actions in My holy wounds they will acquire value, your least actions, covered with My Blood, will satisfy My Heart".
“My daughter, do you believe that I can remain deaf to the souls invoking my Holy Wounds? I do not have the ungrateful heart of the creature: I take everything into account! My heart is big, my heart is sensitive! The plague of my Sacred Heart opens wide to contain everything you need! "

CROWN TO THE SAINTS OF JESUS

This chaplet is recited using a common crown of the Holy Rosary and begins with the following prayers:

In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

O God, come save me. O Lord, make haste to help me. Glory to the Father.

I believe in God, Almighty Father, creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; descended into hell; on the third day he rose from the dead; he went up to heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Almighty Father; thence he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the remission of sins, the resurrection of the flesh, eternal life. Amen.

O Jesus, divine Redeemer, have mercy on us and the whole world. Amen.

Holy God, strong God, immortal God, have mercy on us and the whole world. Amen.

Or Jesus, through Your precious Blood, grant us grace and mercy in the present dangers. Amen.

O Eternal Father, for the Blood of Jesus Christ, Your only Son, we beg you to use us mercy. Amen. Amen. Amen.

On the grains of our Father we pray:

Eternal Father, I offer you the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal those of our souls.

On the grains of the Ave Maria please:

My Jesus, forgiveness and mercy for the merits of your holy wounds.

Once the recitation of the Crown is over, it is repeated three times:

Eternal Father, I offer you the wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal those of our souls.

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, with a decree of March 25, 1999, granted to venerate the Passion of Christ with these invocations.
