Devotion today 20 March: the revelation of the Ave Maria to Santa Geltrude

On an eve of the Annunziata Santa Geltrude singing the Ave Maria in chorus, she saw suddenly spring from the Heart of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, like three spouts that entered the Heart of the Most Holy Mary went back to their source: and I heard a voice that He said to her: After the Power of the Father, the Wisdom of the Son, the merciful Tenderness of the Holy Spirit, nothing compares to the Merciful Power, Wisdom and Tenderness of Mary. The Saint also knew that this outpouring of the heart of the Trinity in the heart of Mary takes place every time a soul devoutly recites the Ave Maria; outpouring which for the ministry of the virgin spreads like beneficial dew on the Angels and Saints. Furthermore, in every soul that says the Hail Mary the spiritual treasures with which the Incarnation of the Son of God has already enriched her are increased.

I. Hail, o Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. You are blessed among all women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God by the Father exalted with the magnificence of his omnipotence over all creatures and made very powerful by him, please assist me in the hour of my death, driving away from me with your blessing all adverse power. Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. So be it.

II. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. You are blessed among all women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, filled by the Son with the excellence of her inscrutable wisdom of so much knowledge and clarity, that above all the Saints you have been able to know more the SS. Trinity, I pray that at the hour of my death you have to illustrate my soul with the ray of faith so that it cannot be perverted neither by error nor by ignorance. Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. So be it.

III. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. You are blessed among all women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, by the Holy Spirit fully inundated by the sweetness of his love, so that after God you are the sweetest and most kind above all, I pray that at the hour of my death the infusion of the sweetness of divine love will impetuate me, so that every sweetest bitterness will be rendered to me. Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. So be it.
