Practical Devotion of the Day: Take an example from adolescent Jesus

Jesus grew in age. The Church presents to us in these days the figure of Jesus as a child and adolescent. As every age of our life is dear to him, he wanted above all to spend the age of youth as an age of transformation and to sanctify it. But his days were full, his years were a chain of virtues and merits… And ours are so empty and useless for the soul, for eternity! Get it right now.

Jesus grew in stature. He wanted to adapt to the conditions of human nature, he too learn to walk, to speak, passing through all the weaknesses of the first age, except sin. What a state of humiliation for him, who traces the ways to the sun, and loosens the tongue of the Angels in their concenti 'O Jesus, let me walk, speak, live in holiness with you.

Jesus progressed in his art. The craftsman of the world, the regulator of the universe, wisdom itself adapts itself to the state of humble apprentice, learns from St. Joseph how to arrange wood, to form a job, a tool! The Angels marveled; and anyone is surprised to think about it ... Think with what humility and fidelity you fulfill your duty ... Aren't you complaining about your condition? Doesn't it seem hard, unbearable, why humble?

PRACTICE .: Look forward to your work with love, like Jesus.
