Practical devotion: every day we call God "Father"

God and Father of all. Every person, even if only because he came out of the hands of God, with the image of God carved on his forehead, soul and heart, protected, provided and nourished every day, every moment, with fatherly love, must call God, Father. But, in the order of Grace, we Christians, adopted children or children of predilection, recognize God our Father doubly, also because He sacrificed His Son for us, he forgives us, loves us, he wants us to be saved and blessed with Himself.

Sweetness of this Name. Doesn't it remind you in a flash how much is more tender, more sweet, more touching to the heart? Does it not remind you of an immense number of benefits in summary? Father, says the poor man, and remembers the providence of God; Father, says the orphan, and feels that he is not alone; Father, invoke the sick, and hope refreshes him; Father, says every
unfortunate, and in God he sees the Just One who will reward him one day. O my Father, how many times have I offended you!

Debts to God the Father. The heart of man needs a God who descends to him, takes part in his joys and pains, whom I love ... The name of the Father who puts our God in our mouth is a pledge that he is truly such for us. But we, children of God, weigh various debts remembered by the word Father, that is, the duty to love him, to honor him, to obey him, to imitate him, to submit to him in everything. Remember that.

PRACTICE. - Will you be a prodigal son with God? Recite three Pater to the Heart of Jesus so as not to become him.
