Daily devotion to Mary: on Saturday

Virgin Most Holy Mother of the Incarnate Word, Treasurer of graces, and refuge of us wretched sinners, full of trust we have recourse to your maternal love, and we ask you for the grace to always do the will of God and of you. We consign our hearts into your most holy ones. hands. We ask you for the health of soul and body, and we certainly hope that you, our most loving Mother, will hear us by interceding for us; and therefore with great faith we say:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. You are blessed among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

My God I am unworthy to have the gift for all the days of my life to honor with the following tribute of praise, your Daughter, Mother and Bride, Most Holy Mary. You will grant it to me for your infinite mercy, and for the merits of Jesus and of Maria.

V. Enlighten me at the hour of my death, so that I do not have to fall asleep in sin.
R. So that my opponent can never boast of having prevailed against me.
V. O my God, wait to help me.
R. Hurry, O Lord, to my defense.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Ant. Comfort us, O Lady, on the day of our death; so that we can confidently present ourselves to the divine presence.

PSALM CXXX.
Because I have not humbled myself, oh Lady, my heart was not raised to God: and my eyes did not see in faith the secrets of the Divinity.
The Lord with his divine virtue filled you with his blessings: through you he reduced our enemies to nothing.
Blessed be that God, who made you immune from original sin: immaculate, he drew you from the womb.
Blessed is the Divine Spirit, who overshadowed you with his virtue, made you fruitful with his grace.
Deh! bless us, O Lady, and comfort us with your maternal grace: so that with your favor we can with confidence. present ourselves to the divine presence.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Ant. Comfort us, O Lady, on the day of our death; so that we can confidently present ourselves to the divine presence.

Ant. Let us direct our sighs to Mary on the day of our death; and She will open to us the supernal mansion of the triumphant.

PSALM CXXXIV.
Praise the holy name of the Lord: and also bless the name of his great Mother Mary.
Make frequent supplications to Mary: and she will bring forth sweetness in your heavenly hearts, a pledge of eternal joy.
With compassionate heart we go to her; it will happen that some guilty desire stimulates us to sin.
Whoever thinks of her in the calm of a spirit not agitated by evil passions: will experience sweetness and rest, as one enjoys in the kingdom of eternal peace.
Let us direct our sighs to her in all our actions: and she will open to us the supernal mansion of the triumphant.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Ant. Let us direct our sighs to Mary on the day of our death; and She will open to us the supernal mansion of the triumphant.

Ant. On any day I will invoke you, O Lady, hear me, please; redouble virtue and courage in my spirit.

PSALM CXXXVII.
With all my heart I will confess to you, O Lady, that, through your mercy, I have experienced the clemency of Jesus Christ.
Hear, O Lady, my voices and prayers; and thus I will come to be able to celebrate your praises in Heaven in the presence of the Angels.
On any day I will invoke you, listen to me, I beg you: double in my spirit virtue and courage.
Confess to your glory every language: that if they recover their lost salvation, it was your gift.
Ah! always free your servants from all anguish; and make them live in peace under the mantle of your protection.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Ant. On any day I will invoke you, O Lady, hear me, please; redouble virtue and courage in my spirit.

Ant. My enemy draws insidious snares to my steps; help, O Lady, so that I do not fall defeated at your feet.

PSALM CLI.
I raised my voices to Mary, and I prayed to her from the deep abyss of my misery. I poured tears before her with bitter eyes: and I showed her my distress.
See, O Lady my enemy stretches insidious snares to my steps: he has spread his infernal net against me.
Help, O Mary: deh! lest I fall under his feet conquered; rather let him be crushed under my feet.
Bring my soul out of this earthly prison, so that it may come and glorify you: and sing in eternal lights of glory to the God of hosts.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Ant. My enemy draws insidious snares to my steps; help, O Lady, so that I do not fall defeated at your feet.

Ant. When my spirit comes out of this world, remain entrusted to you, O Lady, and in the unknown places, where it will have to pass, you may be its guide.

PSALM CLV.
Praise, my soul, the sublime Woman: I am going to sing her glories as long as I have life.
Do not want, or mortals, never desist from praising her: nor spend a moment of our life without a thought of her.
When my spirit comes out of this world, it remains to You, O Lady entrusted; and in the unknown places where it will pass, you make yourselves its guide.
Past pasts do not frighten him, nor may the evil adversary disturb his peace when he comes towards him.
You, O Mary, lead her to the port of health: where you are waiting for the arrival of the divine Judge her Redeemer.

Glory be to the Father to the Son and to the Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning now and always for ever and ever.

Ant. When my spirit comes out of this world, remain entrusted to you, O Lady, and in the unknown places, where it will have to pass, you may be its guide.

To you all the Angels and the Archangels; to you the thrones and principalities lend faithful service.
To you all the Podestàs and the heavenly Virtues: all together the Dominations respectfully obey.

You the heavenly Court, as its Queen honors and venerates.
By invoking you throughout the world, the Holy Church glorifies by proclaiming you: August Mother of divine Majesty.

To save the mortal exiles from eternal death, you welcomed the divine Son in the virginal Womb.
For you it was that the ancient serpent was defeated, I reopened the eternal Kingdom to the faithful.
You with your divine Son take up residence in Heaven at the right hand of the Father.
Well! You, O Virgin Mary, beg for us the same divine Son, who we believe must one day be our Judge.
We therefore implore your help, your servants, already redeemed with the precious Blood of your Son.

Deh! do, O compassionate Virgin, that we too can come with your Saints to enjoy the reward of eternal glory.
Save your people, O Lady, so that we can enter part of the inheritance of your son.
You hold us with your holy advice: and keep us for blessed eternity.
In all the days of our lives, we wish, O merciful Mother, to pay our respects to you.
And we yearn to sing your praises for all eternity, with our mind and with our Voice.
Dign yourselves, sweet Mother Maria, to keep us immune now, and forever from all sin.
Have mercy on us or good Mother, have mercy on us.
May your great mercy always work within us; since in you, great Virgin Mary, we have our trust.
Yes, we hope in you, O dear Mary our Mother; defend us forever.
Praise and Empire is fitting to you, O Mary: virtue and glory to you for all ages and centuries. So be it.

PRAYER FROM A COLLECTION OF DEVOTIONAL PRACTICES, THAT IS, OFFICE IN HONOR OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN.
O Mary Mother of God, and most lovable Virgin, true Consoler of all the desolate ones who appeal to you in supplication; for that supreme jubilation that consoled you when you knew, that your Only Begotten Son and our Lord Jesus, rose from death on the third day to new immortal life, console, please my soul, on the final day, when in soul and in body I will have to rise to new life, and give a minute account of my every action; deign to let me be found in the number of the elect to experience propitious yourselves with the same Only Begotten Son your divine; so that I for you, O most compassionate Mother and Virgin, may avoid the sentence of eternal damnation, and may happily reach the possession of eternal joy in the company of all the elect. So be it.
