Devotion Saint Jude Thaddeus, the patron of desperate causes

Rest assured that he will console and fulfill you. Add to this confidence the constancy in the prayer, even if everything seems impossible to obtain; St. Jude Thaddeus, remember this, works in mysterious ways, uses means of fulfillment and consolation that we, little creatures, don't even think of. Trust, therefore, in the power of this exceptional patron, accompanied by persistent prayer, will be the channels through which the Sacred Heart of Jesus will bring down His divine grace on the sufferings of us, often distracted and sinful.

St. Jude glorious Apostle, faithful servant and cousin of Jesus. The name of the traitor causes many to forget you, but the Church honors you and invokes you universally as patron of desperate cases and situations without remedy. Intercede for me, who am so miserable; make use, I urge you, of that particular privilege you have agreed to bring visible and ready help where help is almost desperate (think of a particular situation that you have at heart). Come to my aid in this great need so that I can receive the consolation and protection of Heaven in all my hardships, tribulations and sufferings, particularly ... O dear St. Judas Thaddeus, who with your hands have healed so many infirmities of soul and body by divine virtue, help me in this weakness of mine and obtain from God that, if such is his will, he will kindly remove this disease from me, so that more I can serve and praise him down here. Amen.

O St. Judas Thaddeus, Apostle of Jesus, I greet you in his Heart and through this Heart I praise and thank God for all the favors he has granted you. Humbly prostrate before you, I ask you for the Heart of Jesus to turn a gaze of compassion on me and not to reject my poor prayer, so that my trust will not be in vain. God gave you the power to help the needy with your powerful intercession. So come to my aid, so that I can praise the mercy of God. For all my life I will be your fervent and grateful devotee, until I can come to praise you in Heaven. Amen.
REQUEST FOR HELP AND ASSISTANCE IN THE NEEDS
O Saint Judas Thaddeus, my patron and lawyer, please help me in this need and above all to ask God for forgiveness for my sins, for which I must pay these temporary penalties. And then ask God to free me from the present tribulation and anguish, provided that this is not contrary to my eternal health. I recommend you, O St. Judas Thaddeus, to watch over my body and soul, so that the malice and the violence of the devil cannot harm me and that the cross and contrariety do not distance me from God, indeed they are help to one day reach the eternal happiness of heaven.
