Devotions: the thought of Padre Pio today November 13th

In the spiritual life the more one runs and the less one feels fatigue; on the contrary, peace, prelude to the eternal joy, will take possession of us and we will be happy and strong to the extent that by living in this study, we will make Jesus live in us, mortifying ourselves.

Testimony on Padre Pio
Ms. Luisa had a son who was an officer in the navy of Her British Majesty. She prayed daily for the conversion and salvation of her son. One day an English pilgrim arrived in San Giovanni Rotondo. He carried a bundle of newspapers with him. Luisa wanted to read them. He found news of the sinking of the ship on which his son was boarded. He ran crying to Padre Pio. The Cappuccino consoled her: "Who told you that your son is dead?" and he gave her the precise address, with the name of the hotel, where the young officer, who escaped the wreck of his ship sunk in the Atlantic, was housed waiting for boarding. Luisa wrote immediately and after a few days she got the answer from her son.

PRAYER to obtain his intercession

O Jesus, full of grace and charity and victim for sins, who, driven by love for our souls, wanted to die on the cross, I humbly beg you to glorify, even on this earth, the servant of God, Saint Pius from Pietralcina who, in generous participation in your sufferings, loved you so much and lavished so much for the glory of your Father and for the good of souls. I therefore ask you to grant me, through his intercession, the grace (to expose), which I ardently desire.

3 Glory be to the Father
