The immediate dismantling of the place of worship of the Madonna di Trevignano has been ordered

Thus ends the story of Madonna of Trevignano, a story full of doubts, investigations and mysteries, which divided the faithful and the local population for many months. The place of worship at the center of the discussions will in fact have to be abandoned.

They should be removed all the objects inside the worship area, such as benches, tables, the case where the Madonna is kept and any document on the presumed apparitions. The municipality on the outskirts of Rome has authorized the immediate demolition with aordinance of 18 April 2023.

Thus is written the last chapter on the messages that the Madonna of Trevignano issued to the self-styled seer Gisella Cardia. According to the research of the municipal administration, all the works pertaining to the place of worship wanted by the seer are illegal.

Le expense for the removal, which must take place within 90 days of the order, will be charged to those responsible for the abuse and therefore to the association headed by Cardia Gianni, husband of the seer, legal representative of the Madonna di Trevignano Ets.

According to the records here is a list of everything that will have to be dismantled:

• Wooden construction with roof covered in sheath.
• Glass case with the statue of the Madonna.
• Wooden construction containing the statue.
• Breached road.
• Benches in wood and metal.
• Palisades in wood and ropes.
• Signs indicating parking and pedestrian areas.

The competent offices are not aware of them documents or permits valid for the construction of these works, built moreover on land whose final destination was that of "agricultural natural landscape“. So in the absence of any title, document, permit or amnesty, everything that has been built is illegal and therefore to be dismantled.

Le investigations conducted on Gisella Cardia, by competent bodies and private investigators, have brought to light that the tears of the Madonna were actually of animal origin, belonging more precisely to a pig, that the association had been built through donations of huge sums from the faithful who believed in the truthfulness of the facts and words of the self-styled seer. After her disappearance, the seer let it be known through her lawyer that she would return and that she would never defraud anyone.
