Divine Mercy: reflection of 30 March 2020

We are made for each other. When there is a lack of unity, the effects are felt in families, communities and between nations. What unites us more than anything else? First of all, we are united to other souls through our Baptism (See Diary n. 391).

Think about the fundamental fact that you share an unbreakable bond with every person who is baptized in Christ Jesus. Regardless of whether another embraces their baptismal call or not, unity still remains. Think about that unity and hold on to it. Allow yourself to see each baptized as a true brother or sister in Christ. This will change the way you think about them and act towards them.

Lord, I thank you for the wonderful family that you created through the Sacrament of Baptism. I thank you for being happy to share this family. Help me to love all your children because of the simple fact that they are my brothers and sisters in you. Jesus I believe in you.
