Divine Mercy: reflection of 11 April 2020

If you were God and had a glorious task that you would have liked to accomplish, who would you choose? Someone with poster gifts? Or someone who is weak, humble and seems to have very few natural gifts? Surprisingly, God more often chooses the weak for larger tasks. This is one way through which he is able to manifest his almighty power (See diary No. 464).

Reflect today that you have a high and high view of yourself and your skills. If so, be careful. God struggles to use someone who thinks so. Try to see your humility and humble yourself before the glory of God. He wants to use you for great things, but only if you allow him to be the one who acts within and through you. In this way, glory belongs to Him and the work is done according to His perfect wisdom and is a fruit of His abundant Mercy.

Sir, I offer myself for your service. Help me to always come to you in humility, recognizing my weakness and my sin. In this humble state, I pray you to shine so that Your glory and power will do great things. Jesus I believe in you.
