The testimony of Francesco Dalmazzo

Francis Dalmazzo is a 47-year-old Salesian priest who met Don Bosco in 1860, when he was just 15 years old. From then on she lived with him until his death.

A 15 years, just entered theoratory, unable to adapt to habits and modest food, had thought of leaving. So one morning she decided to go to Don Bosco for confess. It was just at that moment that a young man approached Don Bosco to tell him that there was no bread to be distributed to young people at the end of Holy Mass.

bread

Don Bosco told the young man to go to the bakery and buy more. But the young man pointed out that he could not do it because the baker had not been paid and therefore he would not have given it to him.

At that moment Francesco didn't worry about breakfast, since he had decided to leave and go home.

Having finished confessing, the last young Don Bosco got up and went towards the small door of the sacristy where he was supposed to distribute the bread. Francis, mindful of others miraculous facts heard about him, he decided to stay and put himself in a place where he could observe what was happening.

CHILDREN

Looking into the basket she noticed it contained approx 15 loaves. Don Bosco begins to distribute them and Francesco realizes that the people who had received him were about 300. When the distribution is over, looking into the basket again, one realizes that there were exactly the same loaves present before the distribution.

At the sight of that gesture, Francesco decides to stay in the Oratory and ajoin the children of Don Bosco in order to always be close to him.
