After taking off the respirator, a man hears his wife whisper "Take me home"

When married life begins, future plans and dreams begin and everything seems to be perfect. But life is unpredictable and often messes up plans in the most unimaginable ways. This is the story of a young couple who had to face an episode they never would have imagined experiencing. This is the incredible story of Ryan Finley and his wife Jill.

It was May 2007 when Ryan he wakes up and after looking at the time, he decides to wake up Jill, his wife as well. He called her, but no answer. He started shaking her but nothing. At that point she began to worry and called her emergency services, while she tried to revive her by practicing cardiac massage.

Paramedics arrive and load the woman into an ambulance. Bryan followed in his car. Once in the hospital, the doctors examined her and came to the conclusion that the woman had suffered a heart attack. So they began all the medical procedures to stabilize her, while Ryan waited for news in the waiting room. After an exhausting wait, news arrives that the man never wanted to hear. The doctor invites him to to pray and Ryan realizes that his wife's condition was serious.

Shortly thereafter Jill, a vibrant 31-year-old woman walks in coma. The woman remained in those conditions for two weeks, surrounded by the affection of people who came to visit her. Among these people was her cousin who sat next to her and read the Bible to her for about an hour.

Leaving the room, he left the Bible with Ryan, advising his wife to read it every day. Ryan began to read passages from the Bible aloud, hoping that Jill would wake up.

After 11 days, the man returned home to reflect on something important. The doctors had advised him to unplug the respirator which kept his wife alive, as her condition could no longer improve.

Jill wakes up after 14 days in a coma

After 14 days in a coma Jill's respirator was taken off. It was too difficult for the man to wait the hours that separated him from saying goodbye, looking at his wife. So he decided to wait in the waiting room. During those hours, however, Jill begins to mumble a few words and move. A nurse rushes out of the room to warn Ryan who in disbelief sees his wife talking about her. The first thing Jill asked her husband for was to bring her back to her house.

Incredulous Ryan began to bombard her with questions, to see if it really was her, if the woman had come back to him. Jill was safe, the much hoped for miracle had come true.

The woman had to go through a process of rehabilitation, she had to relearn small gestures, such as tying her shoes or brushing her teeth, but the couple faced everything holding hands.
