Two nuns killed "in cold blood", the Pope's telegram

Two nuns, Sister Mary Daniel Abut e Sister Regina Roba of the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of the archdiocese of Juba in South Sudan, were killed in a terrible attack on Monday 16 August. He brings it back Church Pop.

Also Papa Francesco issued a statement regarding the attack on the two nuns.

The Pontiff expressed his "deepest condolences" to the families and the religious order. The Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, sent a telegram assuring them of the Holy Father's prayer.

"Confident that their sacrifice will advance the cause of peace, reconciliation and security in the region, His Holiness prays for their eternal rest and the consolation of those who mourn their loss," reads the telegram.
