Former red light star converts and now battles pornography

The story we tell you is of the former porn star Brittni De La Mora and made headlines internationally because she is now on a mission to help Christians escape porn.

From pornography to the encounter with Christ

Brittni De La Mora recently released a new anti-porn course titled "Search: How to Stop Watching Porn", together with her partner, Richard. In fact, she recounts her past struggles.

“I have been in the adult film industry for seven years of my life and I thought, 'This is all I was looking for in life. This is where I will find love, affirmation and attention, '”she recently told Faithwire.

“But I didn't find it there. In fact, I had to start using drugs very early in the porn industry just to get through the scenes ”.

She also said pride kept her locked up in an industry she knew she had to leave. After about three and a half years in porn, she was invited to church and began the process of understanding what it meant to accept Jesus.

However, even after that experience, she found herself attracted to the porn industry again. Despite everything, she did not lose interest in the scriptures.

“I started devouring the Bible“Said Brittni. "God was there with me in the midst of sin".

Over time, she said that God guided her in the right direction and that the truth "freed" her.

Eventually he realized that sin had shattered not only his life, but that his actions were hurting others as well. The Holy Spirit he made her recognize that God had a better plan for her life.

“I understood, 'Not only has my sin broken my life, but I am leading others to a broken life,'” he said. "I don't want to continue living this life."

Today Brittni is a wife, mother of a child and expecting her next child and shares her impressive transformation to faith with a fascinated audience.

"God has radically transformed my life," he says.

Her husband, Richard, recalled how she met Brittni in a group of young church adults and how the two formed a beautiful friendship before falling in love.

“When I look at Brittni, I don't see her as a product of her past. I see it as a product of God's grace, ”she said. "Whenever someone brings up their past, he reminds me how good God is."

The couple manages Love Always Ministries, which creates projects like the aforementioned anti-porn course with a powerful mission to help people find healing and freedom. They also host a podcast titled “Let's Talk About Purity”.

“Porn is an epidemic right now. Not just for the world, but for the body of Christ, ”Richard said.

"If we don't have this conversation, we will see a lot of linked Christians."
