With this prayer Jesus promises to give all the necessary graces

Today in the blog I want to share a devotion, which after the Mass and the Rosary, I consider it more important. Jesus makes beautiful promises for those who practice this devotion with faith and perseverance.

1.I will give everything that is asked of me in faith during the Via Crucis
2. I promise eternal life to all those who pray the Via Crucis from time to time with pity.
3. I will follow them everywhere in life and will help them especially in the hour of their death.
4. Even if they have more sins than the grains of sea sand, all will be saved from the practice of the Way
Crucis. (this does not remove the obligation to avoid sin and confess regularly)
5. Those who pray the Via Crucis frequently will have special glory in heaven.
6. I will release them from purgatory (as long as they go there) on the first Tuesday or Saturday after their death.

7. There I will bless every Way of the Cross and My blessing will follow them everywhere on earth, and after their death,
even in heaven for eternity.
8. At the hour of death I will not allow the devil to tempt them, I will leave them all faculties for them
may they rest peacefully in My arms.
9. If they pray the Via Crucis with true love, I will transform each of them into a living ciborium in which I will be pleased to let My grace flow.
10. I will fix My gaze on those who will often pray the Via Crucis, My hands will always be open to protect them.
11. Since I am crucified on the cross I will always be with those who will honor Me, praying the Via Crucis frequently.
12. They will never be able to separate (involuntarily) from Me again, for I will give them the grace of not
never commit mortal sins again.
13. At the hour of death I will console them with my Presence and We will go together to Heaven. DEATH WILL BE SWEET FOR ALL THOSE WHO HONORED ME, DURING THEIR LIFE, PRAYING THE VIA CRUCIS.
14. My spirit will be a protective cloth for them and I will always help them whenever they turn to
it.

Meditated Way of the Cross
XNUMXst station: Jesus is sentenced to death

We adore you Christ and bless you, because with your holy cross you redeemed the world

From the Gospel according to Mark (Mk 15,12: 15-XNUMX)

Pilate replied, "What, then, will I do with what you call the king of the Jews?" And they again shouted, "Crucify him!" But Pilate said to them, "What harm has he done?" Then they shouted louder: "Crucify him!" And Pilate, wanting to satisfy the multitude, released Barabbas to them and, after having scourged Jesus, handed him over to be crucified. "

What harm has it done? For which of his many good works did they want to kill him?

After all that Jesus had done they turned against him and sentenced him to death. The thief was released and Christ, who forgave the sins of all repentant sinners, was condemned.

How many times Lord, I also choose not you but Barabbas; how many times do I think I can live peacefully without you and do not follow your commandments, letting myself be overwhelmed by the pleasures of this world.

Help me Lord to recognize You as my only God and the only source of salvation.

I thank you, Lord, for being offered in sacrifice for me.

II station: Jesus is loaded with the cross

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Gospel according to Matthew (Mt 27,31)

“After mocking him, they stripped him of his cloak, made him put on his clothes and took him away to crucify him. What a show! Jesus goes to the place where he would have been crucified carrying the cross himself.

Holy cross, cross of salvation, sign of our faith. How many faults represented by that cross that You, my Lord, took upon You without delay. You have taken on all the sins of humanity. You have chosen to carry the cross as if to tell me: what you fear to suffer for yourself, I suffer first for you. What a grace!

Help me Lord to take charge of my cross daily.

I thank you, Lord, because every day you take charge of my sins.

III station: Jesus falls the first time

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

Book of the Prophet Isaiah (Is 53,1-5)

"... He took on our sufferings, took on himself

our pains ... He was pierced for our crimes,

crushed for our iniquities. "

Jesus falls under the weight of the cross. The sins of all humanity are too heavy. But to You, Lord, great sins have never frightened You and you have taught me that the greater the guilt, the greater the joy of forgiveness.

Help me lord to forgive as you forgive.

I thank you, Lord, because you never judge me and as a merciful Father always forgive my many sins.

IV station: Jesus meets his Most Holy Mother

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Gospel according to Luke (Lk 2, 34-35)

“Simon blessed them and spoke to Mary, his mother:« He is here for the ruin and resurrection of many in Israel, a sign of contradiction for the thoughts of many hearts to be revealed. And to you also a sword will pierce the soul »."

Once again Mary is present in silence and expresses all her suffering as a mother. She accepted the will of God and carried Jesus in her womb, raised him with all the love of a mother and suffered with him on the cross.

Help me, Lord, to always remain with you as Mary did.

Thank you, Lord, for giving me Mary as an example to follow and mother to entrust me with.

XNUMXth station: Jesus helped by Cyreneus

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Gospel according to Luke (Lk 23,26:XNUMX)

"As they led him away, they took a certain Simon of Cyrene who came from the countryside and put the cross on him to carry after Jesus."

If you are like Simon of Cyrene, take the cross and follow Jesus.

If someone wants to come after Me - says Jesus - give up on himself, take up his cross and follow me. How many times, Lord, along my way have I not been able to carry my cross even though I was not alone. The salvation of everyone passes through the cross.

Help me Lord to share the cross of my brothers.

I thank you, Lord, for all the people you have put on my path who have helped me carry my cross.

XNUMXth station: Jesus meets Veronica

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Book of the Prophet Isaiah (Is 52, 2-3)

"He has no appearance or beauty to attract our eyes ... Despised and rejected by men, a man of pain who knows well how to suffer, like someone in front of which you cover your face."

How many times, Lord, You have passed by me and I have not recognized you and I have not dried Your face. Yet I met you. You have revealed Your face to me, but my selfishness does not always allow me to recognize You in your needy brother. You were with me at home, at school, at work and on the streets.

Give me Lord the ability to let you enter my life and the joy of meeting in the Eucharist.

Thank you, Lord, for visiting my story.

VII station: Jesus falls the second time

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the first letter of St. Peter the apostle (2,22-24)

“He did not commit sin and did not find deception on his mouth, outraged he did not respond with outrages, and suffering he did not threaten revenge, but gave his cause to the one who judges with justice. He carried our sins in his body on the wood of the cross, so that by no longer living for sin, we lived for justice. "

Lord You carried the cross without complaining, even if in some moments you thought you couldn't do it anymore. You, the son of God, sympathize with us miserable sinners, with our pains, with our worries and, although crushed by pain, you have not stopped consoling and wiping away the tears of those who invoke your help.

Help me Lord to be strong and to carry, every day, the cross that you entrust to me with a smile and with joy in my heart.

I thank you, Lord, because you have given me the cross to sanctify me.

VIII station: Jesus meets the pious women

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Gospel according to Luke (Lk 23,27-29)

“He was followed by a large crowd of people and women who beat their breasts and made complaints about him. But turning to the women, Jesus said: «Daughters of Jerusalem, do not cry over me, but weep over yourself and your children. Behold, days will come when it will be said: blessed are the barren and the wombs that have not generated and the breasts that have not breastfed »"

On the way up the Calvary many people Jesus suffered with You. The women, always distinguished by their fragility and sensitivity, despair for You, for Your immense pain.

Help me Lord to suffer with those around me and not to remain indifferent to the problems and needs of others.

Thank you, Lord, for giving me the ability to listen to others.

IX station: Jesus falls the third time

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Book of the Prophet Isaiah (Is 53,7: 12-XNUMX)

“Abused, he let himself be humiliated and did not open his mouth; he was like a lamb brought to the slaughterhouse, like a silent sheep in front of his shearers, and he did not open his mouth.

He handed himself over to death and was counted among the wicked, while he carried the sin of many and interceded for sinners.

Jesus falls. Once again it falls like a grain of wheat.

How much humanity in your falls. I, too, Lord, usually fall. You know me and you know that I will fall again, but after each fall, like a child when it takes its first steps, I learned to get up and I will continue to do it because I know that you will be there smiling like a Father next to me to encourage me.

Help me Lord never to doubt the love you feel for me.

I thank you, Lord for the trust you place in me.

Station X: Jesus is stripped and watered with gall

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Gospel according to John (Jn 19,23-24)

"The soldiers then ..., took his clothes and made four parts, one for each soldier, and the tunic. Now that tunic was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom. So they said to each other: Let's not tear it up, but we'll cast lots for whoever it is. "

Yet another humiliation you had to suffer for me. All this just for my sake. How much you loved us to be able to endure so much pain.

Your Lord clothes divided into four parts represent Your Church distributed in four parts, that is spread all over the world. Your tunic drawn by lot, on the other hand, means the unity of all the parts, welded together by the bond of charity.

Help me Lord to be a witness of your church in the world.

I thank you, Lord, for the gift of the Church.

XNUMXth station: Jesus is nailed to the cross

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Gospel according to Luke (Lk 23,33-34)

“When they reached the place called Cranio, there they crucified him and the two criminals, one on the right and the other on the left. Jesus said: "Father, forgive them, because they don't know what they are doing". "

Jesus You came to be nailed to the cross. Pierced by those nails. How many blows Lord every day I inflict you too with all my sins.

But You Lord in Your infinite goodness forget my faults and you are always beside me.

Help me Lord to recognize all my faults.

Thank you; Lord; because when I repent I run to you, you give me your forgiveness.

XII station: Jesus dies on the cross

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Gospel according to John (Jn 19,26-30)

“Jesus saw his mother and, beside her, his favorite disciple. Then he said to his mother, "Woman, here is your son." Then he said to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that moment the disciple took her to his home. Knowing that everything had now been accomplished, he said, to fulfill the writing, "I am thirsty." There was a jar full of vinegar; therefore they placed a sponge soaked in vinegar on top of a cane and placed it close to his mouth. And, after receiving the vinegar, Jesus said: "Everything is done!". And, bowing his head, he emitted the spirit. "

He was not satisfied with becoming man, but he also wanted to be tried again by men; he was not satisfied with being tried again, he also wanted to be outraged; he was not content with being outraged, he also had himself killed; and to make matters worse, he wanted to suffer death on the cross ... therefore I tell you: you are worth the glorious blood of Christ.

I thank you, Lord, for Your love and Your kindness.

XIII station: Jesus is deposed from the cross

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Gospel according to Mark (Mk 15,43: 46-XNUMX)

"Joseph of Arimathea, an authoritative member of the Sanhedrin, who was also waiting for the kingdom of God, bravely went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus. Pilate marveled that he was already dead and, called the centurion, questioned him if he had been dead for some time . Informed by the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. He then bought a sheet, lowered it down from the cross and wrapped it in the sheet and placed it in a sepulcher dug in the rock. "

Giuseppe d'Arimatea overcomes fear and bravely asks for your body. Often I happen to be afraid to show my faith and to witness your gospel. Often I need great signs, evidence and I forget that the greatest test was the cross and your resurrection.

Give me Lord the courage to always and always testify to my faith in You.

I thank you, Lord, for the gift of faith.

Station XIV: Jesus is placed in the sepulcher

We adore you Christ and bless you ...

From the Gospel according to John (Jn 19,41-42)

“In the place where he had been crucified, there was a garden and in the garden a new sepulcher, in which no one had yet been laid. So they laid Jesus there. "

The dark sepulcher has welcomed Your body Lord. That sepulcher is the place of waiting, of hope. Lord comfort all men who experience the death of a loved one and help them to live with faith that great pain, certain that you will open the doors of heaven to them.

Give me Lord the strength to bring everyone the joy of your resurrection.

Love the One who for your sake gave himself to you
