Guardian Angels influence our thoughts to help us

The angels - good and evil - manage to influence the mind through the imagination. To this end, they can awaken in us active fantasies that favor their plans. In Sacred Scripture, the angel sometimes gives his order in sleep. Joseph gained divine knowledge in his sleep. The angel informs Joseph that the son that Mary brings has been conceived uses the Holy Spirit (Mt 1:20) and later informs Joseph that Herod is looking for the Child and encourages him to flee to Egypt (Mt 2, 13). The angel also brings to Joseph the news of Herod's death and tells him that he can return to his homeland (Mt 2,19-20). Still in his sleep Joseph is warned to retire to the territory of Galilee (Mt 2,22).

There are also other possibilities of influence of angels that affect the mental dimension. It is remembered that the frost - created in the image of God - partly disposes of the characteristics of God, but also realizes the limits of his existence. Unlike us, the angel has no limits in time and space, but he is not even superior to space and time as God is. He is present only in one place, but he is present in all that place and in all parts of that place. We cannot define its "zone of presence", we only know that it is infinite. “To intervene in earthly events, an angel does not necessarily have to leave the place of his bliss. It submits (simply) the earthly dimension to the influence of its immense will. The ground is - metaphorically - sucked from the otherworldly like a terrestrial body that is diverted from its orbit by the gravitational force of a star and forced to take a new one "(A. Vonier).

Man also remains the absolute master of his thoughts. Divine sovereignty veils the universe of one man's thoughts to other men and angels. "You alone know the heart of all men" (1 Kings 8,39). Only God and man himself know the inner world and all its secrets of a human heart. St. Paul already said: "Who among men, in fact, knows the intimate of man, if not the spirit that is in him?" (1Cor 2,11)

it is known that only those who have understood can also make a decision, and therefore it can be very difficult to realize impotence. In such cases, it would be better if the angel knew our inner world of thoughts. But the only bridge of communication is the will of man. Usually, the angel knows the thoughts of his protege only through what he says and reveals about his soul. The closer the bond with the angel, the closer the frost gets to the world of the thoughts of his protégé. But it must be man who opens the doors of his soul to the holy angel of God. In any case, the angel always has all the means necessary for the guidance of his protege.

b) The angel cannot act directly on the will, because he must respect our free will. But angels - good or evil - bus-healthy and call to the doors of our hearts. They also manage to wake up desires in us. If men manage to get many things from us with flattery, then the influence of angels - spirits far superior to us - can be much greater if we open ourselves to them. In everyday life we will hear his voice above that of our consciousness. The angels speak to men only exceptionally, as in the case of St. Catherine Labouré, who was chosen by Our Lady to disclose the miraculous medal. On the day of the feast of St. Vincent, Catherine heard her name called before midnight. He woke up and turned to where the voice came from. She opened the curtain of her cell and saw a boy dressed in white, four or five years old, who said to her: 'Come to the chapel! The Blessed Virgin is waiting for you. ' Then she thought: they will surely hear me. But the boy replied: `Don't worry, it's half past eleven! Everyone is asleep. Come, I'm waiting for you!' She dressed and followed the boy into the chapel, where he received his first apparition.
