Healed from a brain tumor after the pilgrimage to Medjugorje

The American Colleen Willard: "I was healed in Medjugorje"

Colleen Willard has been married for 35 years and is the mother of three adult children. Not long ago, with her husband John, she again came on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje and on this occasion she told us how she was cured of a brain tumor, which the doctors had ascertained as impossible to operate. Colleen states that his recovery began after he visited Medjugorje in 2003. His testimony has been translated into several languages and is published in 92 countries around the world. Colleen tells us that he was a teacher and worked in school. In 2001 he had a back problem, he could not get out of bed and suffered from severe pain. It was operated on quickly. The doctor told her that after six weeks she would recover completely, but this did not happen: the doctors said that the operation was successful, but she continued to have great pains. Subsequently, numerous tests were performed and it was discovered that he had a brain tumor. "No, this isn't happening to us" - was the first reaction from Colleen, her husband John and their children. “I was speaking as if everything had been taken from me. I constantly asked myself: `What have I done, I grew up in a Catholic family, why is this happening to me, how will I be able to live with this? '. My husband and I decided to consult with other doctors for their opinion. However, even this second opinion was that I could not be operated on, because the tumor was large ". Several hospitals changed and they all said the same thing to them. Then they decided to go to a Minnesota clinic, where other diseases were diagnosed. Already exhausted, she decided to come with her husband to Medjugorje. He says they didn't know what awaited them there, but already on arrival they felt that God was here. They say that during the Mass in the Church of San Giacomo a miracle occurred: Colleen's pain disappeared. Colleen felt that something was happening, told her husband that she was no longer hurt and asked him to lift her from the wheelchair. Upon returning to America, she went to her doctors and told them what had happened to her. John says: “There is no chance, today we are pilgrims here, we have all enrolled in the school of the Gospa, we have come with so many things in our hearts, with so many diseases, with crosses. We could not even imagine that we would have had to face them. On September 4, 2003, my wife and I visited the Apparition Hill for the first time. The previous day Colleen had been healed and was now climbing without difficulty to the place blessed by the apparitions of the Queen of Peace. "
