The family: how important is it today?

In today's troubled and uncertain world, it is important that our families play a priority role in our lives. What's more important de the family? It is an almost rhetorical question, to which however it is worth trying to give a meaningful answer.

Not all families are perfect, indeed none are, but for better or for worse, each family unit is important for the well-being and development of an individual. The family is the core of our plan Heavenly Father. It is the place where people should feel most comfortable, that nest safe in which to always take refuge, that group of people you should be able to count on whatever happens. Despite the many difficulties that afflict our families today, let us not forget that they are not a problem, they are first of all an opportunity. An opportunity that we must take care of, protect and accompany.

The family in the Christian Church

There is certainly no perfect family. God it stimulates us to love and love always engages with the people it loves. For this, we take care of our families, the true schools of tomorrow. The Church is mother. It is our 'holy mother Church', which generates us in Baptism, she makes us grow in her community and has those attitudes of motherhood, sweetness, goodness. Mother Mary and Mother Church know how to caress their children, they give tenderness. And where is it maternity and there is life life, there is joy, there is peace, one grows in peace. When this motherhood is lacking, only rigidity remains. One of the most beautiful and human things is to smile to a child and make him smile. It takes courage to love each other just as Christ loves the Church.

Dedicate every moment to your family, think of them, put yourself in their shoes and, whenever you can, hug them and prove your love them as best you can. Remember that family is your greatest fortune. Your greatest treasure.
