The miracles of Padre Pio: the grace of a little brother foretold by the vision of the saint

We continue by telling the Miracles strangers of the Saint of Pietralcina.

This is the story of a couple who for years underwent fertility treatments to have a baby. In 2004 they finally receive the greatest of gifts: the baby is born Dauphine Maria Lujan. Now the couple wanted to give a little brother to the little girl and waited two years before Andrea became pregnant. Unfortunately, however, the child never saw the light. The woman lost it.

After this very hard blow, the couple decided to go to  Salta, in Tres Cerritos, where more than 60.000 people gather to pray the Holy Rosary in honor of the Immaculate Mother of the Divine Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. On that occasion, Maria di lei saw her sister extract a holy card of Padre Pio from her pocket, which she gave to her sister so that she could pray to him.

The small one Delfina, which at the material time had only 3 years and a half, on the return journey, he told his parents that he had seen Padre Pio behind a tree. His parents paid no attention to it, thinking it was a story that came from the child's imagination.

The miraculous birth of little Pio

Once back home Andrea called his sister telling him the episode of his daughter and the sister explained that it was not a fantasy, many people had seen the saint right next to the same tree indicated by the child.

The prayers of the woman's family were soon answered and a month later Andrea became pregnant again. The presumed date of birth coincided with the date of the death of Padre Pio, the September 23th.

The couple decided that they would call their son Pio if it was a boy and Pia if it was a girl, to thank the friar for having listened to their prayers and for making this miracle come true.

Pious was born in August and the family decided to baptize him on September 23 in the church of San Pioat La Plata.
