The miracles of Padre Pio: healing from blindness through prayer

This is the tale of another god Miracles strangers of the Pietralcina friar.

The story concerns a radiologist. For a man who practices this profession, the eyes are a very important, indispensable tool. But unfortunately this man after countless treatments, surgeries and sufferings, was diagnosed in 2000 with aintraocular hypertension. In that moment his life stopped and for a moment he saw death in the face.

Choral prayer manages to heal incipient blindness

Despite the various medical care, the situation worsened, so much so that in 2010, the pressure in the left eye rose significantly. Now, he had only one good eye left and the surgery would have been very risky.

One day he invited a friend to lunch, who had always prayed for him ever since he learned of the illness that afflicted him. That day he brought him a giftimage of Padre Pio with a small relic of his habit. In handing it to him, he advised him to pray on that image because Padre Pio would listen to him and help him heal.

The man had never heard of the saint from Pietralcina, but worried about his condition, from the very evening of meeting his friend, he began to pray. A few days later the friend sent him a message asking him to pass the image over the diseased eye. The man complied. On the day of the visit, the doctors were amazed: the diseased eye was practically healed.

To try to better understand the situation, they subjected the man to numerous exams, which led them to establish that there was no scientific explanation for what happened. It could only be a miracle.

When he reported the news to his friend, he confessed that every evening, together with his wife and children, they had prayed for him by reciting Padre Pio's novena.

In order to be treated, the radiologist had traveled to hospitals all over the world, he had been to Spain and even to the United States, but the diagnosis had always been the same. Where science has failed, prayer has performed the miracle.
