The visionaries describe the Madonna. Here's how it's made

“My Mother speaks to people in many places, in the language in which you say your prayers. Talk to everyone because your son's good news is for everyone. Men are filled with love much more easily if they see that you look like them, that is why they appear with the physical characteristics of each country where they present themselves ... ". (January 25, 1996, message from Jesus to Catalina Rivas, Bolivia)

“It is of a beauty not easy to describe, but it is enchanting and in it, Humility, Strength, Purity and Love coexist, in capital letters, because all the love in the world I think does not equal the Love that you feel for his children.

When she orders, I feel the strength that is in her, when she gives advice, I feel her maternal Love, and when she tells me that she suffers, for those children who are far from the Lord, she gives me all her sadness.

All this leaves this wonderful Mother in me, who I venerate and to whom I have dedicated my life.

I do this so that my dear brothers can know, in some way, what our Mother of Heaven is like ". (November 8, 1984, the visionary Gladys Quiroga de Motta, San Nicolás)

“… Our Lady always appeared to me dressed in white. But of an incandescent white like the silvery reflections of the sun in a placid and crystalline water. This intense luminosity meant that even the sky, which was the background to the image of the Madonna, changed its usual color and that, from the celestial it was, it assumed those same colors that are seen at dawn.

Our Lady has always worn a white cloak that hung from her head to her feet covering her person. The edges of his cloak looked golden. Her dress was whole, tightened at the waist by a belt (whose edges looked like gold) which, knotted with a single knot, hung down beyond the knees. The right flap was a little longer than the left. The dress, with a simple round neck and the sleeves not very tight on the wrists, fell softly on the feet making delicate folds on the sides of these, but without covering them completely.

The feet were barefoot and could be seen (both) even beyond the toes, resting on the cloud which was very dense: one did not have the impression that the Madonna was resting on the void or that it was suspended in midair. The complexion of the Madonna is clear, slightly pinker on the cheekbones. The hair is brown, but with a slightly more reddish reflection, like the veins that have chestnuts; they are slightly wavy; I don't know if they are long or short, I have never seen the head of the Madonna discovered. The eyes are of an intense blue, they look like sapphires. Sometimes the sea takes on this type of color, and shimmering in the sun, it remembers, even if very distantly, the eyes of the Madonna.

The heart is dark red, surrounded by many thorns that tangled around it. The Heart of the Madonna seems to be immersed in a bush and above it there is a flame. However, the whole heart gives off an intense, penetrating and enveloping light. Whenever the Madonna showed it to me I felt full of that light like a sponge immersed in water, I felt it inside and out. This Sweet Heart, however, did not appear to me outside the dress of the Madonna, as many erroneously believe, but it was so bright that it showed on the outside and the dress at that point was transparent like a veil.

Our Lady always carried a rosary in her right hand. The grains of this were white as pearls, while the chain and cross looked golden. His hands are not very large, I would say proportionate to his person and his stature (about one meter and sixty-five), they are not tapered, but neither are they plump. Our Lady does not show an age greater than 18 years ". (Apparitions in Belpasso, description of the Madonna made by the visionary Rosario Toscano)

“… Before the apparition of the Madonna three flashes of light are seen, and this is the sign that she is coming. He appears in a gray suit, with a white veil, black hair, blue eyes, puts his feet on a gray cloud and has twelve stars around his head. On large holidays, such as Christmas and Easter, on her birthday (August 5th) or on the occasion of the anniversary (June 25th), Our Lady comes in golden clothes.

Every time, at Christmas, the Madonna comes with the small child in her arms, just born. A few years ago, on the occasion of Good Friday, Our Lady appeared with Jesus at her side, scourged, bloody, crowned with thorns and she said to us: "I wanted to show you how much Jesus suffered for all of us".

The Madonna, on the occasion of her birthday, or ours, embraces and kisses us, just like a living person, as we do. However, all that I have said so far is only something external, because the person of the Madonna cannot be described in her beauty. The Madonna cannot be compared to a statue. She is just like a living person. He speaks, answers, sings as we do and sometimes smiles and even laughs.

His eyes are blue, but a blue that does not exist here on earth. To describe them we can only say that they are blue. The same can be said of his voice. It cannot be said that you sing or speak…; you feel it as a melody that comes from afar.

The time during which the Madonna remains depends exclusively on her. However, when we are here, we can notice when half an hour or an hour passes; in the moment of the apparition it is as if time did not exist. You find yourself in a situation that cannot be explained, very different from ours, where two minutes are many for us and only after the apparition can we look at how much time has passed ". (Apparitions in Medjugorje, testimony of the visionary Vicka Ivankovic)
