PROMISES OF JESUS

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy was dictated by Jesus to Saint Faustina Kowalska in the year 1935. After having recommended to St. Faustina "My daughter, exhort souls to recite the chaplet that I have given you", he promised: "for the recitation of this chaplet I like to grant all that they will ask me if this will conform to my will ”. Particular promises concern the hour of death and that is the grace of being able to die serenely and in peace. Not only can people who have recited the Chaplet with confidence and perseverance obtain it, but also the dying with whom it will be recited. Jesus recommended to priests to recommend the Chaplet to sinners as a last table of salvation; promising that "even if he were the most hardened sinner, if he recites this chaplet only once, he will obtain the grace of my infinite mercy".

The hour of Mercy

Jesus says: “At three in the afternoon I implore my mercy especially for sinners and even for a brief moment immerse yourself in my Passion, particularly in my abandonment at the moment of death. It is an hour of great mercy for the whole world. " "In that hour grace was given to the whole world, mercy won justice". “When with faith and with a contrite heart, you will recite this prayer for some sinner I will give him the grace of conversion. Here is the short prayer I ask you "

O Blood and Water that sprang from the Heart of Jesus, as a source of mercy for us, I trust in you.

The novena begins on Good Friday

"I wish - said Jesus Christ to Blessed Sister Faustina - that during these nine days you will lead the souls to the source of My Mercy, so that they may draw strength, refreshment and every grace they need for the difficulties of life and especially in the hour. of death. Today you will lead a different group of souls to My Heart and immerse them in the sea of My Mercy. And I will bring all these souls into the house of My Father. You will do it in this life and in the future life. And I will not refuse anything to any soul that you will lead to the source of My Mercy. Every day you will ask My Father for the graces for these souls for My painful Passion ”.

Consecration to Divine Mercy

God, Merciful Father, who revealed Your love in Your Son Jesus Christ, and poured it out on us in the Holy Comforter Spirit, we entrust to you today the destinies of the world and of every man. Bend over us sinners, heal our weakness, defeat all evil, make all the inhabitants of the earth experience Your Mercy, so that in You, God One and Triune, they will always find the source of hope. Eternal Father, for the painful Passion and Resurrection of Your Son, have mercy on us and the whole world. Amen.
