The miracle of the Madonna del Rosario who saves Fortunata from an incurable disease

This is the story of a hopeless sick woman who turns to the Our Lady of the Rosary for support and hope.

Madonna

Fortuna suffering from an incurable disease, receives the news from the doctors that medicine can no longer do anything for her. In desperation she does not lose faith and entrusts herself body and soul to the Madonna. Together with her relatives, she recites a novena, which will not go unheard. The Virgin, more precisely the Queen of the Rosary, will reveal itself to the woman just as depicted in the portrait, sitting on a throne with her son in her arms.

That painting was brought into the Chapel of Pompeii, from Blessed Bartolo Longo in 1875. It is a painting of little value, purchased by Bartolo after his conversion from an atheist close to Masonic and esoteric circles to a fervent apostle.

The miracle that saves Fortunata

During her apparition the Virgin told Fortuna that she should execute three Novenas of Rosaries. The woman did exactly as she was asked. Miraculously she Fortunata slowly began to regain her health, until she recovered. The Virgin also appeared to her later, telling him that she too could have interceded for other people, but she had a specific request.

Anyone who wanted to get pardons should have to act every day 3 Novenas in supplication. The Virgin told her that unfortunately it was much easier for people to get than to thank and that was her way of making it clear that we should be grateful and not forget.

Numerous graces were recorded after Fortunata's recovery, the Virgin continued to hear and answer the prayers of people.
