A statement on the official website of the alleged miracle states: "The Theological Commission of the Syro-Malabar Church carried out a detailed study of the miraculous incident according to the guidelines of the Holy See and declared that the Eucharist is a relic of the divinity."

Christ the King church held a special mass and recited prayers before sending the host to the apostolic nuncio.

The International Theological Commission has also studied the host, stating that the Church could approve the miracle.
