His heart is for Jesus and is under attack from all sides, the ordeal of a 30-year-old

In Saudi Arabia a 30-year-old Christian will appear in court on May 30th. A former Muslim convert, the young man suffered many persecutions in his country.

As told by Open House, A. is attacked from all sides. Oppressed by his family but also by the Saudi authorities: he was sentenced several times to prison and lashes because of his Christian faith.

The 30-year-old is expected to appear in court on May 30. Meanwhile, his in-laws are doing everything to 'get rid' of this Christian son-in-law.

On May 5th, A.'s wife was contacted by her family, telling her that her mother was ill. However, when she arrived at the family home, she found a nasty surprise: she was locked up with a ban on going out until further notice.

To justify this kidnapping, her family members said that her husband will soon be sent to prison. The 30-year-old tried to free his wife but was unsuccessful.

A., however, is also persecuted by his own family. On April 22, in fact, he was accused and tried for theft. He was acquitted but two charges still weigh against him: for proselytizing and for helping his sister to leave Saudi Arabia without her husband's consent, apparently very violent.

According to Saudi law, theapostasy - leave Islam - is prohibited and punishable by death. However, such condemnations have not been pronounced against Christians of Muslim origin for several years.
