Time to devote to God to be a good Christian

Time is the most precious thing we have but rarely do we realize it…. We behave as eternal beings (and actually we are), but the problem with this way of thinking is that man considers himself eternal on this earth. Time is often regarded as an abstract concept, as if it didn't exist. It cannot be so for the Christian. We must see and live our time on this earth as a pilgrimage, a journey towards a time dimension different from ours, better, where clocks have no hands. We Christians are in the world but not of the world.

Now we cannot neglect our life, but we must become aware of having spiritual duties towards God, our soul and towards those around us. We often make observations in relation to our generation, past times and prospects for the future. By verifying the succession of events we cannot fail to see the signs of the times announced by the Word of God and we cannot fail to consider that the words of Jesus: 2 the time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of God is near ”.

Often we have time for many things, but not for God. How many times, out of laziness, we say: "I don't have time ?!". The truth is that we use our time badly while in reality there should be a need to learn how to use it properly, we need to establish priorities. Thus we can make the most of our life, the precious gift that God has given us, by dedicating the right time to God. We must not allow the various activities of our life to hinder or impede our spiritual growth. Jesus must be and is the priority of the Christian. God tells us "Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything else will have come to you."
