The apparitions of Our Lady in Ukraine

On two occasions Our Lady spoke specifically about Ukraine. In 1987, Our Lady appeared to a twelve-year-old girl, Maria Kysyn, in Ukraine. Thousands of people have claimed to have seen the Madonna with Jesus Child in her arms, at the top of the tower of the town church. Our Lady had already appeared in Ukraine in 1806, averting a cholera epidemic.

In 1914, the Madonna appeared to twenty-two farmers, predicting the suffering that the Ukrainian people would have to endure eighty years, until the fall of the Berlin Wall and the end of the Cold War. In the last appearance in 1987, it had been a year since the Chernobyl nuclear attack and many people witnessed the event.

Rosary

A short time later, during a television program there Virgo appeared on the screen of all viewers. Pilgrims began to flock to the places of the apparition, despite the attempts of the communist authorities to prevent it.

In the apparitions, the Madonna he asked for prayers for the conversion of Russia and sinners and not to forget the deaths of Chernobyl.

These apparitions remind us of what happened to Fatima, Where three shepherdesses they saw the Virgin with a rosary in her hand in 1917. There, Our Lady made several prophecies about the future, warning of the danger of a second World War even more devastating and the communist threat coming from Russia. The only way to counter these threats was to Consecration of the Immaculate Heart of Mary by the Pope and all the bishops.

Today more than ever it is necessary invoke the Virgin Mary to stop the madness of war and the absurdity of the pain and suffering it brings with it.
