“The prognosis was bleak. Basically they said he would die in February, before he was born, ”recalled his mother, a teacher at a Catholic school. He said that students and colleagues began to pray for his son.

“There were 500 children who prayed every day. A group of mothers had a weekly prayer time for him ”.

Friends and family also joined the chain of prayer for the health of James, who was born on March 21, 2011. After giving birth, he was immediately baptized due to the risk he was taking.

“In my dream, my mother and I were on the playground. I looked at the clouds and saw the face of Jesus. Ann was then replaced in the dream by the Blessed Virgin Mary. Maria told Cecilia to touch her heart. Instead of a real heart, there was a hand drawn heart which later transformed into the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Virgin's eyes sparkled with golden rays. Maria said: 'Don't be afraid. Your little brother will be fine, '”Cecilia said.

Days later, James underwent open heart surgery and his condition worsened. "It was horrible. It was white as a sheet. He was lying there. It was devastating to see him so sick. I started praying for the heart at the right time, ”recalled Ann, devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, who began to recite the Holy Rosary in the hospital daily.

In late June, Ann reported that she went to a church near the hospital and started crying on her knees.

“I'm here and I'm leaving you. You know what I want. I leave him at your feet ”, the woman said, handing her son over to Divine Providence.

Two days later, on July 1st, a heart was available for James. The transplant was performed and within a month he was home with his family. On the date of the James transplant, the United States of America celebrated the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
