The novena to God the Father begins to be done this month to obtain any grace

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O God, come save me.
O Lord, make haste to help me.

1. O Lord God, Eternal Father, I remind you of the words of your Divine Son Jesus: "Whatever you ask my Father, in my name, He will give it to you". Well it is precisely in the name of Jesus, in memory of the Blood and the infinite merits of Jesus, that I come to you today, humbly and as a poor man before the rich, to ask you for a grace. But before asking you, I feel the duty to pay, at least in some way, my infinite debt of gratitude and gratitude to you, good and powerful God.

In doing so, I am sure that it will be easier to answer my prayer. Accept, therefore, O merciful God, the most lively sentiments of thanksgiving, since the sense of gratitude is imperative in me.

Thank you for the benefit of creation, conservation and your watchful paternal providence which unfolds every day without my realizing it.

Thank you for the benefit of the Incarnation of your Son Jesus and of the Redemption generously accomplished by him for the health of the world with death on the Cross.

Thank you for the instituted sacraments, sources of all good, especially the sacrament of the Eucharist and the sacrifice of the Mass for which the bloody sacrifice of the Cross is perpetually perpetuated.

Thank you for the institution of the Catholic, Apostolic, Roman Church, the Papacy, the Catholic Episcopate and the Priesthood, for the authority and ministry of which I sail safely in the treacherous sea of this life.

Thank you for the spirit of faith, hope and charity with which you have penetrated my mind and heart.

Thank you for the doctrine of the Gospel and its maxims which I have tried to treasure in order to live according to the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ, and especially of the doctrine of the eight Beatitudes, which comforted me in the pains of life, especially that in which it is said: "Blessed are those who suffer, because they will be comforted". And now that I have fulfilled my strict duty of thanksgiving to You, God the Father, generous author of all good, I dare to ask you in the Name and for the merits of Jesus Christ the grace that I await from your mercy.

Eternal Divine Father, I thank you for all the gifts you have bestowed on the Church, on all nations, on all souls and especially me, but in the name of Jesus Christ give me new graces.

2 . Thank you, Lord God the Father, of the spirit of humility and charity, of piety and zeal, of patience and generosity in forgiving the offenses and of every good feeling that is suggested to us in listening to your Word, in the exhortations of the Confessor, in the meditations and spiritual readings, as well as for so many good inspirations give me.

Thank you for having freed me from so many spiritual and material dangers and from the many occasions of guilt.

Thank you for the vocation given to me and for the means of grace granted to me in order to follow it.

Thank you for the Paradise promised me and for the place you have prepared for me, where I hope to come and for the merits of Jesus Christ and for my cooperation that I intend to put away from sin always and everywhere.

Thank you also for having freed me many times from hell, where I would deserve to be for my past sins, if your Son had not redeemed me.

Thank you for having given me for dear Heavenly Mother the dear Mother of your Son, the Virgin Mary, always compassionate and lovable towards me and for having enriched her with so many privileges, especially that of the Immaculate Conception, of her bodily Assumption in Heaven and of having elected her "Mediator of all grace".

Thank you for having given me many patron saints as patron saint of death and for specimens of holiness and protectors, and for having given me the Guardian Angel who continually suggests good inspirations to keep me on the right path.

Thank you for all the beautiful and useful devotions that the Church puts at my disposal to facilitate my sanctification, especially the devotion to the Heart of Jesus, to the Eucharistic Heart, to his Passion, to the Immaculate Virgin, venerated under thousands of titles, in S. Joseph and many other Saints and Angels.

Thank you for the good examples received from your neighbor and for making me understand that it is the brother, sister, mother of Jesus, according to the Gospel words, who does the Will of God anywhere and always.

Thank you for giving me the inspiration to make the spirit of thanksgiving the pivot and the orientation of my spiritual life.

Thank you for that good that you are pleased to do through me, and I confess that I am amazed and I humble myself that You, O Lord, have made use of me wretched creature.

Thanks now from now for the pains of Purgatory that you will shorten for the merits of Jesus Christ, the Madonna, the Saints and for the suffrages of the good souls that you will want to apply to me.

And now that I have again fulfilled my strict duty of thanks to you, God the Father, generous author of all good, I am more daring to ask you in the name and for the merits of Jesus Christ for the grace that I await from your mercy.

Thank you, O Lord, God the Father, also for the pains, the pains, the humiliations, the diseases, the sad legacy of sin, that you allowed to come and visit me and try me, because they have bent me to the sacrifice so necessary to follow your divine Son who said: "Whoever does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple." (Lk 14,27:XNUMX).

Thank you for the firmament, which, immense and sparkling with stars, in the silent tale, "narrates your glory"; of the sun, source for us of light and heat; of the water that quenches our thirst; of the flowers that embellish the earth.

Thank you for the social condition in which you put me and for never letting me miss the necessities of life, neither the honor nor the daily bread and for giving me comfort and material advantages that many do not have.

Thank you for the graces that I have received and for those, how many more, which will be evident to me only in Heaven!

Thank you for all the natural and supernatural benefits that you have bestowed and still bestow on my relatives, friends, benefactors, on all the souls of this land, on the good and bad to those who deserve them and those who do not deserve them, to the Catholic Church and all its members, to my country and to all the inhabited earth.

Of all the graces that I know and do not know I intend to thank you not only habitually; but also currently every time I say a word.
