Send your guardian angel to mass with this prayer

When you can't get to Mass and you're stuck at home, send your guardian angel to church to intercede for you!
Our daily life, whether we realize it or not, is surrounded by the protective presence of angels!
As the Catechism of the Catholic Church states, “From its beginning to death, human life is surrounded by their vigilant care and intercession. "Beside every believer there is an angel as protector and shepherd who leads him to life." Already here on earth Christian life shares by faith in the blessed company of angels and men united in God "(CCC 336)

The angels are here to help us and, above all, guide us to eternal life.

Many saints would send their guardian angels to various errands, such as praying in a church for them when they were not physically able to do so. This works because angels are spiritual beings and are able to move around our world relatively easily, moving from place to place in less than a second.

This means that when we ask our guardian angel to attend Mass for us, getting stuck at home, they will go instantly!

Attending Mass is a great joy for them, since “Christ is the center of the angelic world. They are his angels "(CCC 331). They love God and will gladly pray for us during Mass anywhere in the world!

The angelic world is mysterious, but we are encouraged to pray to them with faith and confidence that they will do what they can to bring us closer to God.

Here is a beautiful prayer, often printed on prayer cards, which dates back to the 20s and sends your guardian angel to Mass when you are unable to participate in the Sacrifice.

O SANTO ANGELO by my side,
go to church for me,
kneel in my place, at Holy Mass,
where I want to be.

In Offertory, in my place,
take all that I am and possess,
and put it in sacrifice
on the throne of the altar.

To the bell of the Holy Consecration,
Worship with Seraph's love,
My Jesus hidden in the host,
Go down from the sky above.

So pray for the ones I love very much,
and those who make me suffer
, so that the Blood of Jesus can purify all hearts
and relieve suffering souls.

And when the priest takes Communion,
oh, bring me my Lord, so that the
his sweet heart may rest on mine,
and let me be his temple.

Pray that this Divine Sacrifice,
may blot out the sins of humanity;
So take home the blessing of Jesus,
the commitment of every grace. Amen
