Invocation to Saint Anthony of Padua

Dear Saint Anthony, I address my prayers to you, confident in your compassionate goodness that knows how to listen and console everyone: be my intercessor to God.

You who led an evangelical life, help me to live in the Christian faith and hope; you who preached the message of charity inspires men with desires for peace and brotherhood; you who would also help those affected by suffering and injustice with miracles, help the poor and forgotten of this world.

In particular, bless my work and my family, keeping away the evils of the soul of the body; ensure that in the hour of joy, as in that of trial, always remain united to God with the faith and love of a child.
