The devotion to St. Joseph that makes you get thanks

According to tradition, St. Joseph died just before Jesus began his public ministry. The prayer therefore honors Saint Joseph for each of the 30 years he spent with Jesus and Mary on Earth. You can pray in any period of thirty days to honor the saint and to ask for thanks for our needs, for those of our family, our loved ones and all the people who need prayers.

Blessed and glorious Joseph, kind and loving father and friend of all those who suffer! You are the good father and protector of orphans, the defender of those who have no defense, the patron of the needy and those who suffer.

Consider my request. My sins have attracted the just displeasure of my God upon me, and I am therefore surrounded by unhappiness. I appeal to you, loving custodian of the Nazareth family, for help and protection. Please listen to my fervent prayers with paternal concern, and obtain the favors I ask for.

- I ask you for the infinite mercy of the eternal Son of God, who pushed him to assume our nature and to be born in this world of pain.

- I ask you for the tiredness and suffering that you endured when you did not find accommodation in Bethlehem for the Holy Virgin, nor a house where the Son of God could be born. Being rejected everywhere, you had to allow the Queen of Heaven to bring the Redeemer of the world to birth in a cave.

- I ask you for the beauty and power of that sacred Name, Jesus, which you gave to the adorable Child.

- I ask you for the painful torture you felt listening to the prophecy of the holy Simeon, who affirmed that the Child Jesus and his holy Mother would be the future victims of our sins and their great love for us.

- I ask you for your sorrow and for the pain of your soul when the angel told you that the life of the Child Jesus was in the sights of his enemies. Because of their evil plan, you had to flee with him and his blessed mother to Egypt.

- I ask you for all the suffering, tiredness and difficulties of that long and dangerous journey.

I ask you for your care in protecting the Holy Child and his Immaculate Mother during your second trip, when you have been ordered to return to your country.

- I ask you for your peaceful life in Nazareth, where you have known many joys and many pains.

- I ask you for your great concern when you and his Mother lost the Child for three days.

- I ask you for the joy you felt finding it in the Temple, and for the comfort you found in Nazareth by living in the company of the Child Jesus.

- I ask you for the splendid submission that He showed in his obedience to you.

- I ask you for the love and conformity you have shown in accepting the divine order to start from this life and from the company of Jesus and Mary.

- I ask you for the joy that filled your soul when the Redeemer of the world, who triumphed over death and hell, came into possession of His kingdom, and led you with special honors.

- I ask you through the glorious Assumption of Mary and through that endless happiness that you have with her in the presence of God.

O good father! Please, for all your sufferings, your pains and your joys, to listen to me and to obtain for me what I ask of you.

(Say your requests or think them)

For all those who have asked for my prayers, obtain all that is useful to them in the divine plan. And finally, my dear patron and father, stay with me and with all the people who are dear to me in our last moments, so that we can eternally sing the praises of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

St. Joseph, make it possible for us to lead an irreproachable life, free from danger thanks to your assistance.
